    We need more vids on this W212 E63 Kenny, not enough guys like you. Any chance you can dive into the rumours of most M157s running with bend rods according the Tasos ? And what we can do to prevent this.

    Just did the trick and went out for a short drive and today my morning commute, it shifts so much smoother, and i didnt even get a engine code for the disconnection. 14 E63S here with 45k miles, just curious have you ever experienced mixed in oil in coolant, just found out yesterday when i topped off some coolant in the middle of summer which never happened last 6 years ownership, and theres little bit oil on the reservoir cap , traced the system couldn't find leaks or foggy residue around hoses, intercooler etc. Tasted my oil from dipstick it wasnt sweet either. just trying to see whats your thought on that issue if you dont mind giving some input, really appreciated it.

    hello, do you know why 355s have a mesh grill at the back and others have a painted element

    • @ExoticCarDIY

      All 355 came with painted rear bumpers to my knowledge. When the dealers converted regular 355s to the challenge race cars, they installed the black mesh grills. They look great and also provide much needed cooling so it's a very popular upgrade and many people buy them and install them on regular cars

    I really enjoy your videos keep them coming !!. Picking up my first E63, it's a 2016 with 33k. I think I am paying a little on the high side at 47K but it is immaculate, Mercedes-maintained and clean car fax. It has the BS sound system but not sure what other options, no window sticker, and Mercedes will not give the non mercedes dealer a copy. Any idea on how to figure out which non-obvious options it has ? Thanks

      Zero issues. I did notice later that my steering wheel was like 2° to the left, I double checked the alignment, everything was still perfect, but I did do about a 16th turn on each tie rod straighten the wheel out. Other than that they're working great

    2 days late, bro I literally just put them on, I saw them and I figured that it is a POS product because no one talked about them on the MBforms so I got 2 OEM’s from FCP for 700 bucks 😢, but I guess the life time warranty tho FCP means they will last forever or every 20K miles 😂

    • @ExoticCarDIY

      When you go into an alignment shop you can ask for them to set just the toe to zero.
      It's literally a tenth of the work of a full alignment. Many shops will offer a considerable discount to just do toe instead of a full alignment. However I'm sure there are still quite a few places that will still insist on paying for the whole thing

    is the kmac supposed to replace the stock control arm bushing? do i need it if im buying the mevotech control arm? also does the amazon link fit right and left control arms or just the left one ? thnx

    • @ExoticCarDIY

      The kmac bushing is just an alternate option to fix the stock control arm. Unless you're looking to significantly adjust the alignment, you do not need the kmac bushing.
      Both the stock and the Amazon mevotech control arms fit either side there is no left and right.

    By the way, did you replace the bolts?

  • @DutchOrbit

    I'm pretty sure those are painted steel and not "black color". Aluminum flexes and the rubber takes the abuse and flexes. The steel will just bend and fuck your alignment if you hit anything like a curb too fast.

    • @ExoticCarDIY

      Interesting comment...both the stock parts and the aftermarket parts are both steel so not sure where you can get aluminum ones.
      I definitely prefer not to hit any curbs.

    • @ExoticCarDIY

      @@AlmightyBeezy C is soft, starts in second gear. S feels like how the car should normally feel. S+ holds gears longer, even under moderate acceleration, the shifts are much firmer, even when you hit the break it down shifts.
