As a Korean, I did not take offense at that. After all, I call Man City’s manager, that bald guy.
I mean tbf it's either that bald guy in Manchester, or the other bald guy in Manchester. 😂
LOL 😂😂😂
the rocket boy from Korea would be better title
Watch out you'll confuse him with the Shit Bald guy Aka Seven hag
Hwang, Son. Giving Pep nightmares 😂 Can't be too harsh on Pep though, he meant no ill will but the trolling was funny!
Honestly, "The korean guy" is one hell of a nickname.
Did anybody know that, "The Korean Guy", Hwang was Haaland's team mate at Salzburg.
Watch Liverpool vs Salzburg match.
Liverpool was leading 3-0. Salzburg cameback to 3-3, goals from Hwang, Minamino & Haaland, but lost 4-3.😊😊😊
It wouldn’t be if he said the the Brazilian guy, Portuguese guy, and Korean guy played well.
It wasn’t offensive anyway. Now if he said that “yellow guy” that’s a whole different story.
💀
A manager will find it difficult to remember his team/squad name. I have sympathy for Pep.
Nah it's not offensive but he could have avoided that social media drama by simply asking the journalists the name of the third forward. Hwang is a Korean guy as much as Pep is a spanish guy and I'm a french guy.
I’m Korean. It’s funny that he said Hwang as the Korean guy. I don’t think it’s offensive, it sounds more like praising Koreans to me.
이름이 david인데 영어를 못하네;;
@@UserKR13 Bro reply me in English or come to Auckland university of Technology where I am studying at
everybody has an English name bro 💀@@UserKR13
@@davidkim2092yoooo Auckland was legit when I visited. Hope you enjoy ur time there brother!
@@UserKR13 his English seems fine to me. Only prudes and squares call people out on grammar over the internet.
he literally said they have good quality players like him just unfortunately didn’t remember his name idk how that’s a diss he called him good w cunha and neto
I hope he doesn't forget the "Korean guy" other than Hwang who happens to be a regular Man city killer. lol!!
Pep, that's offense, imagine, calling me 'Malawian guy' 😂😂😂😂
건방진 태도입니다. 데 브라위너, 홀란드, 메시가 없었다면 그는 아무것도 아니었을 것이다.
England has stated that there is no racism, but referees still discriminate. When are you going to come to your senses? They don't want to go to the EPL.
im Wolves supporter, i find it naturally to forget people names, not even players..sometimes your nieces, neighborhoods, co workers, that's okay, but it's fun to celebrate a little about Guardiola strong team 😂
Offensive? No. Unprofessional? Yes. Most coaches in any sport might not know the name but usually will know the player's number when commenting about a player. He could have said Neto with Cuna and No. 11..
Salty ...sensitive 😂 ..not his job to remember everyone's name
Funny enough hes not a Man City player..... yet.
You really think he’ll remember their squad number instead of his name? Get real
@@michaelhardwick7298 Are you a newbie to watching sports? Every coach in any sports will refer to the player's number if they don't know the name. If a coach is going to comment about a player being good, he must have at least watched some film on the player. I don't expect the coach to remember all the names of the players. But if he can't even remember the player's number he just watched a film of, the coach obviously didn't pay enough attention. That is definition of being unprofessional.
That Korean love to score against big clubs
Not a major issue but it's easy to ask the name or say you just don't know it and identify him after as Korean. But in reality, Hwang is the top scorer he had to have known about him on the scout report, so he just looks ignorant for not remembering it and just calling him Korean.

잘하니까 좋은팀 감독으로 부린거죠..
'The Spanish manager'
Pep’s a class act, he made a minor mistake in forgetting the Korean guys name and has had a wet fish slapped in his face, no drama.
He didn’t bellyache after the result either so 🤷♂️COYW
If he referred to hwang as “the Chinese guy” or “chino” then yes it would be offensive
그는 한국인이다. 유럽인들은 모르지만 한국과 중국은 서로를 싫어하고 라이벌의식을 가지고 있다.
He probably just didnt want to butcher his name.....fair play
I don't think Pep was being racist. He probably just forgot it.
He just forgot the name.. nothing ill-will or racist.. chill out people 😂😂
Even pep forgot the rival's player not his player 😂😂
I bet if he said "the black guy" you wouldnt react like this
Can he remember every opposing players names ? No way.
nothing serious but its still funny. the bald guy should never provoke korean players cuz they always pays back. Son and Hwang.
I don't think it was racist but it was slight even if unintentional because of ANY current Premier League manager, Pep would have seen more of Hee Chan's vids, just due to watching Haaland highlights and scounting videos.
30% of Haaland' RBL goals was in combination wit Hee Chan Hwang
Lmao. Real talk, english isn't pep's first language and to be fair if I didn't consume a lot of international media Korean names would be hard for me too because they are quite unique and different to naming conventions in then west. But yeah, considering you should've studied the team beforehand and should know the important players...forgetting the name of a guy your about to face and then losing to them is karma incarnate.
how many koreans does Pep play this season? Does he watch football? Does he tell scouting departmet to keep track of the korean guy? Why does he get a pass for being dumb? Is it easier for native english speakers to remember a KOREAN names?
Pep forgot Hwang's name, not Korea's. It was disrespectful to Hwang, but not offensive.
Son laughed
Pep looked nervous in that interview
What happened to the Norwegian guy......?
Guys at least he didn't say Chinese or Japanese.
Or alot worse, but you know he is thinking it.
@@murderofcrows2179No he obviously knows enough about Hee Chan to know he’s Korean. He either did it on purpose or genuinely just forgot 🤔
He's never escaping the racist allegations 😂😂😂
He did not want to miss
pronouce his name
how hard is it? everyone can pronounce wang. Just add an alphabet at the front doesnt make it hard to pronounce it. Cunha is more hard to pronounce than hwang
At least he didn't say that chinese guy lol
Everyone’s just “woke” these days. I can’t 😂 I’m “ the African girl” at work and I take no offence in that coz I’m actually African
WTF did this italian guy say? salami salami.
Sibalsaekki🤮🤮I will pay the price for ignoring Koreans
You or him?
Well, not a easy name to pronounce. Hwang push his name into Pep’s
brain. That’s all that matters.
That Korean guy should have seen a 2nd yellow and gone to Seoul
Pep, that's offense, imagine, calling me 'Malawian guy' 😂😂😂😂
😂😂
