Will watch video later. But I had a heart attack in January, the beer probably didn't help, but was rather peeved as spent the last 2 decades in the gym more than the pub But not saying I'm going to embark on my legendary "Leo Sayers" (all day on the beer) as that too would probably result in my demise... But will say this, the sobriety have had forced on me has left me like an empty vessel. Bored rigid. So sorry to say I these days am not entirely bothered whether I live, or perish (selfish I know). I was not an alcoholic in the strictest term but suppose a "robust social life" is more accurate.... And I miss it terribly.😢
I'm new to your channel- I'm sorry that you went through this- I need your help. I am 44 years old- never drank in my 20s or teens- became a social drinker in my 30s. My best friend was a big drinker he went yellow in 2016 was in hospital- he was sober from 2016 up until 2019 pandemic- he died in 2021- he had memory loss constant bleeds swelled legs- it was horrible. I nearly lost my job because I myself started drinking. I was investigated by the dvla had to do a cdt test. I did 1 month stone cold sober- best month for years but lost my dad couple of months ago. Been hitting it hard- on my days off drinking in the morning- I have a disciplinary at work due to absence & pains in my sides- I'm not eating- constant heart pain- palpitations- do I need help or am I j grieving? I would respect your opinion mate.
I only drink these beers now one or two times per week. They do help for me and especially when I'm out in bars with friends. You don't feel any effects of the alcohol. It's less alcohol than what is in a glass of orange juice even. 😮
Hello Steven. My daughter recently asked me what is the best thing about being sober? It's the feeling of liberation! I replied. My alcoholism has left it's mark, many health problems which I'll have to deal with permanently..but the freedom I feel, when sober, is nothing short of beautiful! Thank you for helping so many. And sending best wishes to this wonderful community..our greatest glory isn't in never falling.. it's in rising every time we fall!

Hello Mary, yes like Steven says to need to tell us a bit more so we can help you with the way forward.
I've had problems urinating when I have come off the booze before. Which scared me massively. Obviously it affects every organ in the body
@@southLondon-jx6qv It does indeed…it affected your digestion massively 👍
Will watch video later.
But I had a heart attack in January, the beer probably didn't help, but was rather peeved as spent the last 2 decades in the gym more than the pub
But not saying I'm going to embark on my legendary "Leo Sayers" (all day on the beer) as that too would probably result in my demise...
I know where you are coming from..I was king of the pub..I still miss the social side
You after have a goal and completely focus on that...
Hi apologies for the late response. So true must have a goal & an incentive.

Do you have to fight off cravings on a daily, even hourly, basis, or is that an on-again, off-again fight?
Hi William I rarely get cravings I’m pretty sober confident now
How are you?
@stevencurry215 more power to you! 👍👍
I think I had an e mail will chase it up

26 litres is a massive amount of liquid! No wonder you felt better after that was drained off Steven!
It was so painful..😥
Check all your bread with a black light. (Moldy bread causes liver disease)
Also, Quercetin is your friend! 🤓👍
Congrats on getting where you are today. Drink is bullshit.

Does anyone think 0.5% so-called alcohol free is ok for alcoholics?
No in a word
i dont think so. its better but not optimal, like going from cigarettes to vaping. just no need for either.
