    Rob, I can highly recommend a little Boss eBand device. All your sounds and music in one device. You can plug in, record, loop etc. Perfect for learning songs quickly.

      I always find the yo-yo approach the best. Sometimes I come back to a song and get it even better than the last time I ran it before I took a break (a sign I should have taken a break sooner!)

    Great insights. Who was the band? As I was watching the video my son said he was just heading to Sydney to see The 1975 and I could see you playing with them, especially when you mentioned the clever arrangements. Loving the videos and podcasts.

    Very interesting subject, thanks Rob ! One day, my guitar teacher told me : you have to learn your song so you should be able to ask for a beer and play the song at the same time 🍺
