- The all-new 2024 GMC Acadia is a midsize SUV that has been redesigned from the ground up. It features a new exterior design, a more spacious and luxurious interior, and a number of new features. The new Acadia is longer, wider, and taller than the previous model. This gives it more interior space for passengers and cargo. The Acadia now has a third-row seat that is standard on all models. The second- and third-row seats can also be folded down to create a flat load floor, which provides up to 79 cubic feet of cargo space.
The Acadia's interior has also been redesigned. It now features a more premium look and feel, with higher quality materials and finishes. The Acadia also comes standard with a number of new features and technologies, including a 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a wireless charging pad, and a head-up display.
Under the hood, the Acadia is powered by a new 2.5L turbocharged four-cylinder engine that produces 328 horsepower and 326 lb-ft of torque. This engine is paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission. The Acadia is also available with all-wheel drive.

Huge SUV, 4 Cylinder... It's not the horsepower, it's not that it's not capable of driving nicely, but the 4-cylinder sound has a specific and distinct sound, I hate the sound and the vibration of 4 Cylinder engines... I hate that ALL car manufacturers, and all SUVs are starting to go that route, that will make those engines last far less.. you're squeezing all of this power with this turbo out of these 4-cylinder engines, you're not going to have longevity. Yea.. I really hate 4 cynlinder engines on heavy SUVs.
I once owned the Envoy Denali that was replaced by the Acadia. It had a 5.3L v8 and true 4x4. I have a 2014 Acadia now with the 3.6L and a huge reduction in torque especially while towing. Now it’s a 4cyl and I wouldn’t pull my 2 horse trailer with this new one. My current one does okay and the Envoy did it effortlessly. I think this engine would really struggle with towing.

4 cynlinder engine on a SUV that big makes no sense, but i guess that's the direction most car companies are going.
So even the SLE base trims 2024 will have 15in screens? Bout to buy a 2023, now I'm thinking maybe wait. Anyone can confirm? Thanks
