Tim Franklin have you raced any yet?once the season starts i can do a video like that for sure like to mix it up racing footage and a separate video of the weekend in general the biggest cost really is just fuel and thats getting to the tracks most of them are 10hrs+ one way for use
It can get expensive. Especially if you want to go by the season, you'll have to go by what broke if anything, new parts, where you stay, food/beverages and gas. Now if you have sponsors then it does help a lot but you will still spend money. I was thankful for the sponsors I had when I use to race Atv's in gncc, ixcr, oma.. Etc!
pezimistiK ya its costly for sure but you can save money carpooling w friends we have a toy hauler so we camp at the track food is cheep the quad can be costly if you constantly break stuff each race the biggest expense for me is diesel fuel i need a sponsor for that
Sorry, I was talking about the Axle main inside the trans, I shredded it lol, they were pressed on! Thank you for replying! It was my first time splitting the case, I disassembled and reassembled the whole thing using your videos! You’re the man!
I can usually get a full season on one my new machine unfortunately is gna have to get changed out soon that last gncc w the mud/water did a little damage☹️

Love the series so far!!! Would you be able to do a suspension video sometime?
Thanks for watching! I can try and do a suspension video i dont service my shocks i send them out so are you asking about setup?
ononewheel7 sorry yes a set up video, I should have been more specific. 🤦♂️🤦♂️
Aaron McKinley i figured thats what you meant i will see what i can do during the new build video coming up!
ononewheel7 thanks man!!
What piston and crank brands do you recommend?
Vertex pistons and oem cranks/bearings
Nice bro
Joseph Rosa thanks part 4 is in the works
Can you accidentally time it 180 degrees out? Having problems with mine
Yes
If you do it wont run.
@@ononewheel7 is there any way to know? Or is not running the only way of knowing lol
If its out 180 it will not start. But there could also be other issues. Are you rebuilding a engine or trouble shooting something?
Did you put anything on the head bolt threads? The manual says use molybdenum disulfide grease, i might just use permatex aluminum anti sieze.
I usually just use assembly grease or oil
Okay sounds good and you re-use the head bolts right.
Frankie Marchese i reuse them one time and then replace em
Good point. Since i dont know how many times mine were used im getting new ones with washers. Its cheap enough anyways, thanks!
Late to the party but what parts did you use? And is it similar to do on an 04? I don’t want to attempt this on my 2020 and mess up
I have an updated engine build video i did last year and went over all the parts i used as well as costs have a look at it!
What shims did use on the valves?
This head was already shimmed for me so i just bolted it on but when i do shim heads i use the hotrods shim kits!
Hey man I’m trying to tear down the axle main on my 2010 yfz450r and can’t get the gears off the axle main? How’s it done?
Are you talking about the rear axle or inside the engines transmission?
Sorry, I was talking about the Axle main inside the trans, I shredded it lol, they were pressed on! Thank you for replying! It was my first time splitting the case, I disassembled and reassembled the whole thing using your videos! You’re the man!
Ok nice man wasn’t sure which bearings you meant! Glad you got it fixd and my videos helped you!
Hey Bro! Love Your Vids! I am from New England! Grew Up in Connecticut! Anyway I was wondering if You Gap Your own rings?
I buy the cylinder kits so thats all ready to go and install!
How many hours betwen piston changes?
I can usually get a full season on one my new machine unfortunately is gna have to get changed out soon that last gncc w the mud/water did a little damage☹️
Por favor puede activar el subtitulo en español de los videos? gracias
