Q. I think wisdom is different from knowledge, but which category of Five aggregates do they belong if you sort?

▪︎About him
In 1945, Ven. Sumanasara, the master of Gotami Vihara, was born in Sri Lanka, and he became a samanera (novice monk) at the age of 13. In 1965 he was fully ordained as bhikkhu (Buddhist monk) and continued formal monastic training. After teaching Buddhist philosophy at a national university in Sri Lanka, in 1980, he came to Japan to study Japanese Buddhism on the funds of the Sri Lankan Government. He is an internationally renowned Buddhist scholar and meditation master, He is currently involved in Buddhist evangelism and in guiding people into the practice of Vipassana.
Through his sincere and gentle personality, and by his ability to give sermons fluently in Japanese and English, he has gained an excellent reputation among Japanese people. Moreover, Ven. Sumanasara is giving sermons at the Asahi Culture Center, and appeared several times on NHK Educational TV show, "The Age of Spirituality (Kokoro no Jidai)".
Ven. Sumanasara preaches Buddha's teachings, which are actual and insightful wisdom to practice today.

知識では悟ることが出来ません。智慧では悟ることが出来ます。と、聞こえてくるような動画でした。配信有難うございます。
猫になぜ尻尾があるのかを問う お話とても面白く思いました

知識に差があると、得るものがないと相手を見下す。
智恵で差があると慈悲や哀愁で見送られる 。
智恵なら自分が学ぶつもりがあればなんとか手が届く、回りに智恵のある人がいれば、惜しみ無く助言してくれる。
知識、職人の世界だとその逆になる。
確かに、知識には直接的に人格を向上させるという働きは無いね。
だけど敢えて言わせてもらえば、知識は智慧に気付く契機をもたらしてくれるよね。
「間接的に知識は人格の向上において役立つ」ってのは俺の錯覚なのかな。
大いにあると思いますよ。
例えばこの法話のお話を聞いて智慧を高めようと思ったのならば、それこそが仰っていることそのものと思います。

そして、よく調べたらまれに尻尾がついて生まれた男の子もいたりします。だから人間の尻尾がない理由のように、子供の出すような質問でも、偉い人類学者が本気で間違ったり、ある日分からなくなったりは意外とあったりします。 最終的には、尻尾が無いのは、それがあなたの本質だからと言うとしかないんですね。
