I am often asked about the accuracy of anthropomorphic industrial robots.
This is always an insidious question to answer.
The reason for this is related to the fact that industrial robots, especially 6-axis anthropomorphic robots, are not precise machines. Maybe this thing will surprise you but I assure you that a robot can safely make a mistake of several millimeters in reaching in point in its work area.
