Most of their songs are storyline, including this one. So complex. They are vampire princes/guards who have forgotten a long ago past where they pledged to protect a princess. They are feeling the absence of her, but are still in oblivion until she awakens them in this lifetime…until then they exist in a kind of limbo. The Webtoon Dark Moon tells the storyline.
"Sacrifice" is part of the storyline along with "Bite Me" they also released an 8-ish minute concept film that sets up the story. It vaguely ties in with their webtoon Dark Moon: The Blood Altar which is the thing at the end of some of the music videos, it's actually about to wrap up at least for a bit. So if on your own, you wanted to read it it could help fill in some gaps for you in the story. Oh also you must check out their release for Dark Moon, "Criminal Love" there's no MV but it's a delicious song there is a video of their rehearsal posted on their channel. And if you absolutely want to lose your mind, you have to check out their Weverse Con performance of a song called "Come 2 Me" It is a cover from a female artist, blanking on her name right now, but TXT (this performance is pretty saucy too) did a cover as well and Le Sserafim performed with her.
