I have a new idea for my BIG BOOK of Junk Journal Ideas that is a fun add on to any journal and it uses up 6x6 papers that we all have so many of! Let's make this fun wrap with a flip and so much space for ephemera and journaling!

Love it. Will definitely be mass making this. This is also my purging year. First step, reducing my mountains of paper into junk journals and mass made ephemera. I have papers that are over a decade old. I have a bedroom come studio and I can't get in there to create. This year is about using, donating and gifting. I WILL tame the beast I created 😂. We all do. I remember when I was starting I saw many videos and they were perfect, but Gayle Agostinelli just let the camera run and I was so grateful when I found her. I do some editing but it’s usually more when I’m interrupted because it seems that no one knows I exist until I turn on the camera and suddenly everyone wakes up 🤣😂

Good morning from England. This is the best idea I've seen for a while, it's simple too. I'm just having my morning coffee then I'm straight into my craft room to make one or two. I subscribed to your channel only recently, I really like your delivery and you give just the right amount of detail i.e. don't spend forever measuring when it's not really that important. I had fun following along. I had to laugh i have this 6x6 pad as well and didnt know how to use the honey comb. My hobby lobby has bedding now and half as much yarn.
I am SOOO Upset they got rid of all so much yarn. In the fall I love to crochet and they had a huge selection, now mostly only their brands. Really upsetting.
Well I made one right away! I really like having something new to make and this is super!!

Relative newbie here, don't have many 6×6 papers, but I have a stash of tissue boxes I have cut up for scraps that will work nicely. Can't wait to try this out!

Hobby Lobby by me has always had home goods. Yay
We did too but these were different home goods. They were like the wall you see at target that has all the measuring cups and can openers and things like that. It was just odd. The employee told me the BBB story.

I bought the same set and like you didn't realize what it all did. Recently I just discovered that there is a corner rounder on the other side of the envelope punch! 🤣🤣

Excellent project! Let’s use up those 6x6 😊27:29 Hobby Lobby has always had tons of home decor (I worked there) they wouldn’t buy up “used” stock. Not sure what your store was/is like. 😁 I also believe in craft room miracles 💙🦋

Decor too. This is different. It was less decorative and more practical stuff. Not used. New. The employee mentioned they bought up their inventory when they closed down. 🤷🏼♀️ I’m happy you like the project. 😀

DJ, I was wondering what kind of white glue are you using and if you dilute it down? I have been using fabri~tac but it is too thick and stringy for me. I notice your glue is more free-flowing and seems to adhere quickly without warping the paper. Does it work on thin copy paper as well? I really enjoy your videos. I have been doing JJ for a little over a year and just recently discovered you. Thanks for your time you give to us so we can learn fun and interesting ways to craft. ~LisaFae
Hello and welcome!! So happy you’re here. I never liked fabritac for that same reason it is so thick. I use a mixture of art glitter glue and PVA glue. About 50/50 with a tiny bit of water to get a flow I like. It works really well sometimes it is good on copy weight paper and other times not so much. It depends on the thickness of the layer of glue I use and how many times I drop the dang paper I’m trying to glue on 🤣😂 I prefer my UHU glue stick for copy weight paper.
@@hitherandyonstudio definitely going to do that. I haven't tried glitter glue but I have notice it adheres quick. I am terrible about pulling paper up to straighten it up. LOL Guess I will learn to pay attention. Says the ADHD kid. LOL
Ha! I am the queen of pulling things up...I do it all the time. So long as I don't tear it to bad I usually just cover up the mistake. ~ Fellow ADHD kid!!
