It's fascinating how their songs are architected... it starts melancholically welcoming, and then the climax hits and you are overwhelmed with feelings. I love this band so much.

I've loved Slowdive since Just For A Day came out. I even wrote a review for a Slowdive fanzine of the California shows on the Souvlaki tour. (Which I also bootlegged. haha) I was gutted when they broke up after Pygmalion. It's such a wonderful time when we get to enjoy brand new Slowdive music here in 2023. Low Five for Slowdive.

omg, give it to me intravenously! amazing and timeless! just as good and i would propose even better than the 90s. and they clearly were the best of the 90s,. with this track, i'm feeling that headswirl reminiscent of "Just For A Day", but the sound is obviously better and so much more developed. the fact that each of their albums sound better than the previous (imho) is just a testament to the amazing talent here. btw this slowdive comeback has rekindled my mojave 3 listening too and, quite honestly, i would love a mojave 3 comeback as well. a different but equally wonderful and satisfying listening experience. basically anything this band does is just completely amazing and will be treasured music for many years to come. thank you to all of the band members for continuing to make amazing music...

Slowdive plays in San Francisco Oct 12. Reserved and floor, starting at ~$100. Sold out a few days ago, new show added Oct 16. Thinking about that and this track, Slowdive is killing it.
