I live here, I was working in my mom’s shop at this time during the summer lol. Its a unique childhood experience, it’s like Easy Mode. Life is simple, school is simple, not much to do outside of home, no reason to play hooky. If you were to raise a family here, there’s a good chance they will be introverted and more quiet than most people on the mainland.
I just came back from Pelee Island 2 days ago. It was booked with a bustour group from Toronto. Had a wonderful tour of the whole island. Went for wine tasting which was amazing. This island is SO beautiful. Also had the ice cream. Definately coming back next year.
How great! Didn't know there are bus tours form Toronto, if you're comfortable recommending these guys leave their name below please. Pelee Island is amazing but challenging to book yourself in the summer.
Yes that's very common knowledge (no need for rudeness/drama and capital letters). This chanel is for visitors/tourists and Pelee Island is the most Southern publically accessible point. Middle island as far as I know private with no public access.
Did you watch the video? I go on how challenging it is to book the ferry with the car! It's almost impossible in the summer months. Of course car there would be ideal.
You mean for the ferry? that only comes from the Canadian side, they dont check anything there as it's assumed it's ok as you're in the country already. If you're coming on a private boat (from US) I'm not sure of the rules.
@@ontarioroadtrippingthere is absolutely a ferry from the United States in Sandusky, Ohio. They make sure you have your passport before boarding and then you meet the customs agent immediately after getting off the ferry once you’ve arrived on the island.

Do you see alot of snakes? I saw on google that snakes are common too be seen here
No I didn't see any
They are! And a huge reason the island is so well protected 😊
Middle Island is the most southerly point of Canada. NOT Pelee Island.

@@ontarioroadtrippingmiddle island is now in the hands of Parks Canada after being purchased from a private owner.

since 2008 you need a passport or a "passport card" (you can get those from your state's DMV (or whatever you state has) to enter Canada.
It is my understanding you need a passport to enter Canada from the states. That would include this place.

The ferry DOES come from the US side also at Sandusky OH but you will need a passport or " Enhanced Drivers License " if your State offers them .
No sense going there without a car.
