Hi I just found your channel. Love the content. Hope you are loving NY and your ENT specialty training. Will you be posting any more content in the future?

Can i ask why you chose ENT? And did you consider other specialties?
Im just about to graduate medical school in the EU and im still on the fence (residency application work differnetly here so i still have some time). Loved my final 4 month ENT elective, loved the pediatric aspect, QoL aspect for patients and work-life balance, but Im not too intrinsically interested by sinus infections or ear infections/tubes.
Also did a plastic surgery elective which i liked, but it has less pediatric patients in non-academic setting, worse work-life balance and i think its too surgical for me (i like the follow-up and medical management also)
Online i mostly read about the great work-life balance of ENT and their scope, but much less about intrinsically liking sinus-infections or something (non-academic problems). Just wondering on your take :)
Btw, money makes no difference. In the netherlands all specialists earn the same money (so i also could become a pediatrician and earn the same)
