He’s such a refreshing addition…as long as he doesn’t do crappy dramas, I’ll consider myself a fan…and his performance in JBG shows that he’s worked hard in refining his acting skills…

It's their bread & butter, not every project is supposed to be a Parizaad. The masses resonate with what they resonate & actors of all sorts have the absolute right to pursue whatever they feel is right to their specific journeys, at any point of time. Talha has loads of potential & I'm very sure that he'll do justice to every role that finds him. Most of our TV serials (typically that of ARY & Geo) operate with the induction of an adrenaline rush in the audience, for instance, the likes of Feroze Khan's projects. For Talha as a newcomer, it's an open space for him to experiment with his craft, charm, work ethic & talent. The top & the most renowned people from this industry have had their share of tastes from all sorts of genres, roles & ways. Just because we've seen an exceptional Captain Farukh through him with a magician like Haissam Hussain, does not mean that this very infant journey of his on TV now or beyond is ALWAYS supposed to/will have to necessarily deliver something like that. This is his profession & he has the right to test himself, play around different roles, win the hearts of different types of audiences & 'see' what 'works for him whenever so'. One thing is certain, his performances won't disappoint us, he's this MANJAH HUA ADAKAR. ❤ It would be a joy to watch him light up our screens & embark upon this journey of living with so many characters & working with all kinds of actors, writers, directors & producers. 🌟

@@nehaamjad7066 I agree to a certain extent…sometimes it is about money as opposed to honing your skills and doing something constructive…however, he has set the bar pretty high for himself with his first breakthrough performance that anything subpar would be extremely disappointing…

@@sabahatmazhar6056 That's like, every actor ever. Give me a name & I'll tell you about their redundant/mediocre or even lame project(s). Like every other profession, the one who pursues does not find a path so smooth & lovely, at all times. I would expect fine projects from the industry from all actors at all times, but this isn't possible which is what makes a very fine one, stand out. It's not even the actor's job in the entirety, it's an amalgamation of so many people's efforts & perspectives; just as Faryal Mehmood told Amna in her interview with her how she got to work for a beautiful script, but the way it was made & projected for the audiences to watch - turned out to be the exact opposite. For us to take a toll on Imran Ashraf for one of his projects that weren't as gripping as the others, isn't justified, for he has his 'individual journey' & lessons in this field, as well. I can't hate him for taking on a project that isn't as astonishing as another, as for him to be an actor & a man in this society - this is his bread & butter & choices that he can also not always put down for what resonates with the masses through his medium. There are so many audiences with different mediums. We definitely demand & expect greatness, but as different acting books quote, 'there are only eight different types of stories in this world' - around which our creativity revolves. If I see Talha in a Geo's fiery love triangle tomorrow, I would still look out for him & his performance, even if I find that storyline very repetitive or obviously not as special as Captain Farrukh's. His journey & that of every actor who especially isn't a star kid or already some MD Productions ki ankhon kah tarah (for example, Azan Sami in Ishq-E-Laa in a very typical & obvious story) - cannot always find it so easy to bag work with excellent Directors, for example, Kashif Nisar. Please listen to what Faryal Mehmood told Amna in her interview with her about 'not being let' to work with Kashif in his projects by Hum TV, & how Kashif fought for her place. This ride isn't easy & as an audience that wishes to dive into these actors' lives, personalities & depth through these interviews, should definitely also consider that. 🌸

@@nehaamjad7066 you’ve obviously given this a lot more thought than I have…I don’t watch a lot of Pakistani content…a drama here and there and I enjoy watching @somethinghaute which is why I might be familiar with what’s going on…I like Wahhaj Ali, so I’ll tune in when he’s starring in a drama…if it’s the typical, run-of-the-mill story filled with redundant themes and background music that nags at you periodically, I’ll stop watching…thankfully, the majority of his dramas are pretty good and the others, I’ll tune out…unfortunately, dramas are created to rake in as much money possible which is why the producers bank on the actors’ popularity or looks rather than abilities…Talha Chahour explained how he managed to get into character and all the drills and conditioning he had to go through…that is something I highly respect…with others who just show up, well, that’s pretty obvious, too…I just hope Talha doesn’t fall down this rabbit hole of fame and fortune…

@@sabahatmazhar6056 wahaj was not like this two years before... He has done some really stupid and sensational projects... Fitoor and Haiwan are best example of it...And these projects can be considerd his most watched projects... Alas... I totally agree with ur comment and he has also talked about it in his IV... He definitely has set a benchmark... But this character came to his way by luck... If he has to become hit he really needs to make his position in industry... He is not a nepo kid.. He will not be given alot of choices... First he should establish himself... Then should set a standard... This is the same formula which Wahaj himself applied on his career... Starting from soap serials and Now becoming one of the most trusted actor for educated audience...

No wonder JBG is having such a profound effect on us, when people like Talha have put their heart and soul into creating it! The process he went through to bring Capt Farrukh to life on screen is height of commitment and dedication. And it totally reflects on screen. He’s such a breath of fresh air on our screens and I’m not surprised that he doesn’t watch dramas that is why his performance is so refreshingly new! So heartening to such such nice talented guys joining the industry! Wish him all the best!

As I'm also an army captain so I can tell you that he just nailed the parsona of an young army captain. Specially senior- junior and course mate relationships are shown exactly as it exists in real life army. He also carried the nuances of a newly posted junior military officer very well. I always enjoy his nervous interactions with his Commander.

Great interview. Love the naivete n innocence of youth. At that age we all see life with rose tinted glasses n see every one as 'so helpful'. Every one is my brother and trying to help me, just adorable. Hope he keeps his commitment and enthusiasm for the craft. Life has a way of making us jaded. The profession that he has picked is very cutthroat. God bless him, very competent at what he does.

Talha has a wide range of theatrical acting experience, which we do not see in most of our established star actors. Ajoka Threatre has given us absolute gems like Talha Chahour and Usman Zia, the guy playing the Bengali professor. The only problem is they are more suitable for parallel drama, which is very rare in Pakistan.
I would love to watch his Harry Potter movie. Wish it becomes available on TH-cam. All the best to Talha.

Amna, you misstated that Alif was Haissam's direction. it wasn't. that was haseeb hasan. Haissam hasn't done anything since he left Bin Roye. i think the last drama we saw from him was Aunn Zara. That was almost 10 years ago. Nobody does romance quite like Haissam though. Hasan and Bano's epic romance from Dastaan & Fawad & Sanam in Pyaar ka Pagalpan are prime examples.
Talha's interview was refreshing to listen to. thanks for this :) Can you please try and get a hold of Haissam Hussain. i would LOVE to see his interview

Enjoyed each and every moment of the interaction in one breath. The internal light of Talha Chahour is enlightening. The star in his eyes, the truth in his voice is reflecting his powerful personality. His faith, love for his parents and dedication altogether is amazing. Jo Bichar Gaye is illuminating the history, the other part of the history that was in the dark. As a Bangladeshi I felt that part of the story might be exaggerated, however, I am enjoying the performances. Indeed a masterpiece of art. Thanks for the interview.

The interview sold the drama to me. Not a big Maya or Wahaj fan (despite their good acting) so passed it earlier but want to go back to it start watching it for this actor's character. Partly, and huge part for that matter, because this was a refreshingly sensible and intelligent conversation and secondly, besides my brother I have come across very few people, almost close to none by the name of Farrukh....so to have it as a central character and often repeated brings some nostalgic sibling vibes now that we live so far away.

He fits absolutely perfectly into the role of Captain Farrukh in JBG, and even though we have power house performances by Wahaj, Maya and others, he adds that special spark to the show. His onscreen chemistry with Maya is electrifying! ⚡️Would love to see his Harry Potter movie. Wishing him all the very best in life, and a long and very successful career ahead - he has so much potential and the looks and personality to compliment his talent! So nice n elegant performance. Keeping the dignity of the captain you very nicely showed his soft side. Stay Blessed n all the very. Bests for future endeavours.
