@@techyb8614 do you spend enough time warming up? How many isometric holds are you doing to strengthen knees, are you strengthening the knee through a while range of motion? Id advise to tackle the source rather than just slap them on because your knees don't feel right, you could probably do alot more than you think to strengthen the whole knee
@@angusroewl7206 In short no I definitely do not warm up enough. When I do my knees feel bullet proof so I know getting them warmed up properly makes perfect sense. I'm just being a gym bro and to eager to slap plates on the bar. I completely agree with you.
@@techyb8614 good that you can see that pal. Your body will thank you in the long run if you do a good 15 mins warming up, getting the blood flow in those nooks and crannys, you said it yourself that you feel bulletproof when you warm up, so you're doing yerself a disservice by not. These sorts of things build up and if you're proactive you can guarantee yourself you're gonna be slamming weights for a while g, take care man
Gurph looks like an unimpressed bouncer who’s about to tell me “not tonight bud” lol
That's the best comment we've ever read!
I laughed way too hard at this.
The real question is, when should I start wearing a bench shirt for snatch?
Pre bar sets, get used to it, maybe even that morning!
What about wannabe powerlifters who aren't very strong and aren't very good at any lifts? 😂😂
Slingshot on your deadlift and squat days is the best place to start..
Gurph's face on Crossfitters' "enhancements"
So do you think beginner weightlifters will benefit from wraps or is it counterintuitive for growth in knee stability?
Did you see that power lifter who got caught wearing both sleeves and wraps in a comp 😂 few kilos there I reckon.
I’m about to buy a belt so I’m waiting for the next video impatiently
This wednesday coming at you!
But when should I use a hat and when not?
In before you rip into the sbd sleeves . I'm only a minute in but I know it's coming
What are SBD's issues?
@@Horus-Lupercal nothing, just dont see many weightlifters using them
They do make weightlifting sleeves now though
What about using sleeves to stop my shins from bleeding
Awesome, looking forward to more of these vids.
Thank you!
Please make the videos louder in the future. It's very hard to hear whenever you try to listen with any background noise
We used a different mic this time and it definitely wasn't as good! It'll be the usual next time!
@@sikastrength cool, keep it up
Howdy partner
Would you still say you still get a benefit from 5 or 7mm sleeves when doing long pause squats like 3 secs and longer?
You could just do 5sec pause squats raw??
@@angusroewl7206 I love squatting raw but if my knees start feeling tender I'm slapping those knee sleeves on.

I always thought the knee sleeves were for knee support to avoid injuries. The more you learn.
12:00 is me for the last two and a half years 😔😂
Hahahahah everyone has done it!
Aww man same here
Sooooo... where do I find these Elon Musk sleeves?
He's pretty active on twitter!
