I love when he says “easy right “that’s my favorite part I am making this I love his vegan salad recipes he teaches you how to make your own dressing it’s so easy and refreshing I love them.❤😅
È bellissimo il tuo sorriso quando dici: Easy, right? Le tue ricette sono strepitose...ne ho provate alcune....buonissime. Grazie mille per averle condivise❤
Hello! I baked this fantastic cake turned out great. The cinnamon and all those little pieces of apples really compliment each other. Thanks for sharing this lovely recipe.
Hello Nico! Oh my gosh I made this cake again like muffins its soooooo awesome. Thanks again for a wonderful recipe that is not w lots of eggs and butter. Minimal ingredients and not using too many pots and pans. Thank you Thank you 😊 ❤❤ .making dessert should be this easy w great taste. Love it.
Looks fabulous!!! Can’t wait to make this apple cake!! Three questions - (1) Would this cake work with a 9 inch pan? Two, you showed the parchment lining the bottom on the pan but you didn’t show the parchment being placed on the sides of the pan. Is this essential? (3) Do you spray the pan before placing the parchment in the pan? Thanks again for your recipes!!
Looks so so wonderful and I can't wait to make it but I have to shop for the ingredients first. Will it work just as well if I buy the self raising flour and skip the baking powder - will be even more easier right 🥰😉❤. Thank you Nico and Louise.
I made this today but took the recipe off your website. Off the website, you left out vanilla and lemon zest and it stated 360 F not 350 F. The batter was much thicker than in your video - but I followed it precisely using a kitchen scale. It turned out okay but I think you must change the recipe on your link. Thank you!
I'm making it right now, as I'm writing this, it's in the oven for 55 minutes at the moment so I used a toothpick and it's still super wet in the middle, like raw batter which hasn't been cooked at all yet. I doubt it will be done in 10 minutes. :( Update: It took 90 minutes, will report back how it tastes. Final update: It's too gooey for my my and my husbands taste.
I just made this today. One cup of milk (BAMnut milk barista version) plus 1/4 cup of olive oil was not even able to get all the flour (2 cups, 280 g, Wholefoods 365 organic AP flour) incorporated, let alone get to a liquidy consistency as shown. I was horrified, and had to throw in quite a bit of water in a pinch to dilute the batter. The end result was also not as fluffy. Something is not quite right here. I'm going to try again using a different brand of AP flour and milk and will report back if I succeed in making the cake fluffy like the video!
I cannot use oils at all. People tout olive oil avocado or very healthy but I cannot use either one as my cholesterol spikes. Additionally way way way too much sugar. To me if the sugar and the oil are not healthy
Hi Alex, so sorry to hear! Just curious since you describe the batter; did you bake the cake? As an FYI? The batter gets quite thick (and is supposed to), once the cake bakes the apples release water and “balances” out the thickness. Let me know, happy to help!! ☺️
i did bake the cake, and it turned out very dense. Before I bake the cake, my batter was much thicker than what’s shown in the video. Btw, I used the weight for my all purpose flour, which is 300g, and I had a hard time to mix it.
@@Alex-tsao-timi I'm going to try this recipe. Depending on the brand, the flour weight per cup changes dramatically. For example, King Arthur AP flour weighs 120g/cup, so two cups would only be 240g. I'd recommend using less flour or add more plant milk to reach the consistency as in the video. If the consistency was wrong even before baking, surely it wouldn't turn out as great. It seems like a wonderful recipe based on the video, we just need to be vigilant in our own kitchen to make judgement calls and not follow recipes robotically.

Hi Jen, thanks so much for the feedback! Which size cake pan did you use?
Do you have an oven thermometer?
@nilorecipes As instructed I used an 8" pan, I specifically purchased one for this recipe. I normally use 9" pans.
Ingredient amounts please. How much flour, baking powder, oil, ,etc.
They left the recipe in the description!

so sorry to report back, that the batter ended up to be too thick. Didn’t like it:(
