I did a tournament the other day I placed 4th but from the PAR pack I got a gold counter catcher. From the PAL pack I got a Pidgeot full art. I think I won with my pulls
They can be fun to open and play prerelease at home, but I typically don't purchase them after the set is fully released. Now, if you're able to get these at a good discount, it may be worth it!
Replacing Golisopod with Iron Valiant ex was the worst thing you could do. Golisopod usually attacks for 60-140 for ONE energy which is crazy good. Also, it hits opposing Chi-Yu for weakness, and it's very likely your opponents will have Chi-Yu in the Prerelease. Iron Valiant ex, on the other hand, is very mediocre in this particular deck. It takes 3 energy (PPC) and you can only accelerate Fire Energy with Chi-Yu. Once you get to attack, you get a KO, sure, but then you're vulnerable for a turn because you cannot attack turn turns in a row. If you want to attack with something else (if anything else on your board even has any Energy), you have to pay two Energy to retreat and reload your Iron Valiant ex later. You have zero Switch cards so the Ability rarely even works. Not worth it. You could be swinging consistently with Golispod and only giving up one prize. If you had for example 2 Future Booster Energy Capsule, there might be some sense in playing Iron Valiant ex.

If you listened carefully to the video, I did mention "this may come back to bite me," "this is risky," etc. Sometimes, you just have to roll with fate if fate gives you two exs in 4 packs for the entertainment factor.

If you dont have phyic energy in the box how you use the valiant? you can add any type energy?
The judges will have extra energy cards you can use, just make sure to ask!

Are these still worth it post prerealese? I need an iron hands EX for my Miraidon EX deck, but shipping for singles is outrageous to my country.
