So congrats mate !! I remember the 3rd run was sick but you can do it. 4th run was insanity but 5th run with the penalty of breaching, I thought I will not do it, I was frustrated as fu*k but didn't give up fortunately. I think the patience is a real deal

Dlc hardest difficulty is much harder than gmgow in the main game. Sometimes I felt the enemies are sponges 🧽

@@PmaS. How are the sponges? It's a pity! The main story on gmgow was very stuffy and drawn out compared to the 2018 game. In the new part, and even more so in addition to the high difficulty, you are strangled by fat enemies and forced to combine weapons, wearing out the gamepad more and accumulating fatigue from the senseless stuffiness of what is happening. It's a pity that the new part came out like this

If they are not meant to decrease your health but just stun you, I don't know.
I thought this was kind of practice fight without dying feature.

@no offense but if you haven't played it then don't say it's sus. He dodged both attacks and his health is decreasing till it goes to one because it's a specific penalty specifically for the DLC

Hi there, only evasive embers or just evade backwards works in this situation. Don't do that right or left, he always get you
How did you not die with that little health ? I mean I don't say it easy but if you don't die, eventually you will beat him even if you are the worst player.
Because (as I mentioned on a sub-comment) you got a yellow ground shock wave. If they are for stunt, okay but I thought this is a practice fight.

Also Kratos - Can beat Tyr while being cursed to death
Insanely impressive display of skill. I see a lot of other people doing these PoB runs with crazy glyph combos and infinite realm tears but this was just textbook mastery of the combat.

That's one of the things I don't really like about the new games, (at least on the higher difficulties). I feel like 90% of the boss fights on gmGoW are just a patience test waiting for parrys and blue ring attacks. I do like the new combat and the boss fights but I wish it was a bit more engaging rather than just waiting for attacks, maybe add more quick time event stuff like when Tyr grabs you in this fight.

It is because those who appear mid the fight are no way that weak. They definitely have higher hp and won't die in a single hit. I'm sceptical, but he has amazing skills nonetheless, this is very hard even if he's playing on a lower difficulty

Nobody pointing out that Tyr has a spear sticking out of his face at the end where he tries to grab kratos and tells him to focus? Bruh, you need to focus on this spear sticking through your face.

@PmaS. the worse they can do is reject it. Being anonymous in yt has it perks, no one's going to bash your run. Even if they did its going to last 2 days. Best thing that can happen is that they will mention and maybe make an Easter egg or something better.
Honestly I don't have any expectations about that. It would be amazing of course but if not I am still happy that this video have many vievs and people like it. Finally some audience know about my exixtance and that is the best reward for me after 16months of youtubing when nobody cared about my effort :)

I'm only asking this because of curiosity, and not because I want to downplay the skill you've displayed, but is damage just always guaranteed? As in does Kratos just take damage from stuff no matter what? I've never played it myself but I'm wondering if there's a way to avoid all damage altogether WITHOUT some crazy cheesy junk
Penalty of breaching glyph makes Kratos slowly drain his health until 1hp, no matter what

What is ur tactic? Focus on a single weapon throughout Valhalla? I was always confused. Also, I think it was more interesting surviving all the to reach Tyr in the first place, how did u do that?!
I was forced to use a single weapon cause axe or spear were almost useless at level 1. Reaching Tyr was very tough so facing him finally was a great reward. My tactic? well, just practice and patience😁

Increases Kratos damage when avoiding hits
I bet Valhalla is like DAFAQ WHO IS THIS GUY forcing his way into Valhalla and just killing everything that is thrown at him, then Valhalla looks at kratos past and is like I AM SORRY U MAY CONTINUE 😂

Wow I'm lost for words. You didn't get hit once. Why don't you use the L1+ triangle ability of the blades once its full. I always use it for the extra damage

Definitely not for longer flights at lvl1 I guess. Also Tyr likes to jump back many times or grab you. L1+triangle and realm shift is the perfect combination for quick fight and op set
I dont even wanna know how long this took to do, not just this fight, but the journey to get to him.....
There needs to be more games which allow players to succeed without leveling. Acquiring skill to perform these crazy scenarios is awesome. And the best part is such as with this game where there are many ways to play and there’s nothing (to my knowledge) which is absurdly broken to spam and utilize.
Fromsoftware does a good job of this too imo.
And TeamNinja as well. Probably the best combat system in the industry. It would be great if we got more games like you said .

While impressive, it is obvious that this isn't possible without having a bunch of bonuses for cool down and runic. Runic attacks do not charge this fast and they are very weak at level 1.

Focus the flames where it blesses cooldown on the blades is easily my favorite glyph, spamming runics is always so fun

Hi there, I think you just need practice like I did. Nobody is good enough for the 1st or 4th time. Be patient and you get that💪

not to throw hate at you but i noticed some deteails on the video :
1- tyr's first phase is norse spear and shield, not the aztec weapon (i forgot the name)
2-the lower section of kratos' armor is part of the post end-game set, ¿right?, the greek skirt
3-you have tuned gameplay setings, the inevincinle dodging isn't on the default game setings(i think)
4-you have heimdall's sword equipped as relic, item wich is obtained later in game
5-you have the max level skins for the axe and spear, obtained on end-game (not sure of spear)
6-you have a shield those aren't availble on first try(also aplies for spartan rage)
asside of that, congrats man, you almost no-hitted tyr
if i am wrong on any of these, please correct me
