I wish that you would use this narrator instead of the synthetic one! At one time I could read 600 to 800 words per minute, but now I have very low vision and can only listen. I love the inflection and passion you put into the narration, and have always loved Lee’s stories!
I do not produce the synthetic ones. Those are downloaded into TH-cam by someone else. I make these on my own under my TH-cam Chanel. Glad you like them. I’ll try to make new ones soon. Thanks.
Too much description getting in the way of telling a story, but I'll give it credit for a noteable effort. Attention to detail, so often neglected, maybe for no better reason than to meet an arbitrary deadline, is sacrificed far too often. An author who determines to get his details right can make up a lot for his excessive description. The two are not precisely the same things, but, of course, other readers may prefer things very differently than I do.
Well it does follow the pattern set by Lee Child in the few I have read myself. While I like the stories and character, it does continue to gall me how these stories minimize the massive cost of motels and diners in the US since the mid 80s. Fact is, only a very financially comfortable person could afford such expenses even without the liability of an automobile (which would actually be far less costly than the pattern). True vagabonds live mostly outside and subsist on a variety of fast food bargain menu items, free shelter food and packable grocery store items.
@Paul Revere Reacher always takes the "the spoils of war" from the well deserved victims of his violence, which partly pays for his lifestyle expenses. The rest he either works when he has to (Bouncer, Swimming Pool digger, etc), collects his Army Pension, or if desperate he'll rip off a drug dealer. I'm happy to suspend my disbelief in this financial area so I can enjoy the philosophical purity of his non materialistic, non consumer adventures. 👍
@@anthonybutt2453 Well, if I wasn't tolerant myself, I wouldn't keep picking up more of the books as I come across them (always for free btw). Still I have to wonder if anyone would actually want to read something not so highly embellished. Maybe the real-life stories still have to be told around the ever more rare campfire deep in the woods which is where I tend to feel most at home, not that I actually get to spend most of my life there.
@@paulrevere2379 Good point. Yes, there's clearly something primordial about listening to, or reading stories that add to the cultural zeitgiest, be it round the preverbial campfire, or round the dinner table after a few bottles of wine. 👍
You tube seems so worried about offending people so for the record, I’m offended by Tom Cruise face being on all these Reacher thumbnails. A drawing or a picture of the actor that did an appearance a few years back would be better.
There isn't any... no one knows what reacher looks like. No current actor can play him. Cruise did two films and was fairly good at it. just not right size. so for now... its the best we have. same goes for Batman... no actor was really like the way he was drawn. They are much weaker.
it's obvious you do not know the character Jack Reacher....if only you come to know him in all the Lee Child novels you would appreciate this short story...
Awesome story awesome narrator. Thank you. You should keep the narrator……
totally enjoyed this, goodstyle. Thank you.
i appreciate it. Thanks
@@BANE2025 you're a far better narrator than I am and I enjoy your output. {Ah, youtube, 'Pobble With No Toes.}

Good story, albeit short, great narration and sound quality, thank you.
Thank you for listening. I appreciate it
Good story. Love it.
Really enjoying this Bane. Thank you. I'll attempt to check out this author also.
Thank you. It’s been a while since I’ve done one. Took a long break.

you are welcome. glad you liked it.
Loved it😎😄
Thank you.
Jack Reacher is a incredile hero. Not tom cruse.
Cruise is a creep!
Alan Ritchson plays Reacher on Prime. He is Very Good👍🏽👏🏾❣️
Reacher, 6'5" and 250lbs and they have Tom take the part. A poor bit of casting.
I agree... Hugh Jackman would have been a better choice. but really, no ones fits the part.
why a picture of that guy ???
Cruise is the total opposite of what Reacher should look like and got the job because of money I imagine
I know. But for now, he is the face of that character at least in films. There is not a lot of art out there depicting this incredible character.
Stop hating. Yes physically he was nothing like the character. But he had his mental. He became reacher.
@@cwillie1492 Not for me he didn't ..he always plays Tom Cruise ..not hating , just not liking btw

I agree. those parts are very unrealistic. it bothers me but Reacher is good for the soul... it helped me grow as a person. so i overlook it.
@@BANE2025 Reasonable enough.

Hope this read is AII!!!complete. Why put the sections all over or just preview. Lee Child must b disgusted at book disruption 📚📚📚
These are one shot fan stories. Not part of a bigger story spliced up.
Thank you for your narration and posting!
What is the name of the story?. One Man or Watch Me?
It’s been renamed. Original title is not the best choice.
The blasphemy of GODin this book is VERY OFFENSIVE AND UNCALLED FOR😠 Very disappointing and disturbing‼️‼️
Fan fiction almost always sucks. This falls below sucks.
