    Dr./Coach Tom Osborne is a truly great human being with integrity beyond reproach. No greater person has ever coached, and I would dare say there has never been a greater coach, in any sport.

    I will most certain use this style of coaching when I start not really a "rah-rah" type of guy but not a push over either but just respectful to others and demand respect back

      As a coach, when you put a national championship team on the field with a handful of walk-ons and in-state players, you are equivalent to Tom Osborne. Otherwise, having 100 of the top 100 high school players wanting to play on your team (Saban) then you can just call yourself a great recruiter coach. Saban is a HOF coach, but has pick of the litter that Tom did not.

      Tom has a thing called class. Saban should look it up.

      Saban does. I watched a short piece on him. I have a lot more respect for him now than I did before. Saban IS a class act.

    This is why I love Tom Osborne and despise football coaches like Greg Williams.

    America is getting away from the great coaches of the 80's. I think Penn ST. hurt Coach Penn St JOE PA., PUT THEM DAMN STATUES BACK UP. I am a HUSKER FAN through and through. I still loved JOE PA.

    • @fallguye6011
      @fallguye6011 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      JoePa should've bailed when he was ahead, and there was something else he should have done, too. Nonetheless, the man was a great football coach and influence on the game, as well as one of Osborne's good friends. If Paterno could've redone the garbage, he would've.

      @@fallguye6011 Paterno enabled a child pedophile as witnessed by one of his assistants, and did nothing about it. He could have suspended Sandusky immediately pending an investigation.

      Paterno has 2 sides to his coaching. Before 1987 and after. Look up his record. He never was a threat (cept 94) after 87.

      Now count the academic All Americans along with the wins. Nebraska under Osborne was far and above everyone else.
