He begged me for days to stay, saying we could fix it. It still hurts so bad, but we will never be able to work. I miss him. I miss his son. I just can't go back. He claimed to have trust issues, but I'm positive it's a direct result of him cheating on every girlfriend he's had. His guilt has caused him to be extremely insecure and suspicious of others. I tried desperately to fix things, to help him heal his wounds until I realized he caused everything he's been through. I hope he gets real help someday, and I hope I heal and get to a point where I stop thinking of him. I wish he would magically change, but even then, I'd never be able to handle reconnecting with him. I miss the person I believed he was when we met. If anyone can relate, we will recover and find peace someday. Let the pain take its natural course and release it all.
It's alright girl. Sometimes things are just not meant for you no matter what and it isn't a bad thing. Free yourself from negativity/toxicity and heal. Wish you the best
