It looks like the monstrose variety puts its energies into producing pups rather than growth? The 2 cacti were covered in babies! I’m glad you have some nice neighbours- a shame they are leaving! Thanks Ziggy!
Nice leuctenbergia!!! That subulata monstrose is a bit different from the form im used to. The large normal trunk with the smaller monstrose growth. I'm used to all smaller growth in this form. Very unusual ! Thanks for sharing Ziggy!!! From Morris Park in the Ozarks, to the UK 🇬🇧 have a wonderful day!!! Peace, Love, Plants!!!✌️💖🌵🌻🌷🌴💐🌱🍀🌹🌿🌸🌳🪴🌾🏜😃👍
Cheers Clyde 🙂 Oh no, there's not another form of it as well 😬😁 Biggest one I've ever seen too. Ta for having a look, hope you have a lovely evening 😊😊🌵🌵
Those are beauties, Ziggy 😊 How often do you water your Leuchtenbergia by the way? Thank you for sharing with us as always my friend. Have a lovely evening from Edith & myself to you & Jackie ❤️🌵☀️🌺🌼🌸🏜
Ta Daz 🙂 Once a week during the summer, but it's got a girt drainage hole in the bottom to make sure it goes straight through. Ta for having a look my friend, hope you and Edith have a lovely evening too 😊😊🌵🌵
"Congratulations on your new Monstrose cactus! 🌵🌟 Its unique and striking appearance is sure to add a distinctive touch to your collection. Can’t wait to see how it grows and flourishes in its new home! 🌿✨"
Hi Ziggy! I've never seen a monstrose Austrocylindropuntia subulata like those two😱💥💞They are humongous. It just blows my mind! My one is about 8 years old, 20cm tall. I have two more growing slowly. I think mine needs a repot soon.
Haha, at this rate we will both have Austrocylindropuntia Subulatas growing out of our ears! 🙂😆🌵😆🌵👂👂 I don't believe I'm acquainted with the former owners of these beautiful plants, but they've obviously had a happy growing environment. Thanks for sharing and have a great evening 🙂🌵💚
Hi Ziggy 👋 I loved this yellow flower cactus and that what your friends gave you was so big and beautiful and that dluffy monkey one was adorable :) ~ Anna 😃👍
Guess i wasn't listening closely enough when Ziggy mentions his neighbors 'moving' away, where I instead heard 'passing' away. So maybe you can understand what I was thinking after reading your comment. I was like,...Damn, how cold is this sowgroweat character!...and where were you exactly on the nite of their untimely departure! 👮
@@sowgroweat6987 Blimey, now there's the start of a good novel. The Ghosts of Cacti from Absent Friends 😬 Could be a best seller 😁 Ta for having a look Mike and Adam, glad you sorted it out 😁😁🌵🌵
