I gotta tell you. I'm 31 and completely forgot about the ASVAB somehow when i walked into my recruiters office. When i first started this I would have had no clue on how to do questions like #12. No idea if you still see these, but this helped me like you wouldn’t believe. I got a 61 on the practice ASVAB, went to my local recruiting office and took the PiCAT and got a 75. I failed the verification sadly ended up having to take the ASVAB, and I got an 80!!! Just wanna say thanks! I was up all of last night prepping for it

5 years ago I took the ASVAB 3 times and did not pass with score average between 16-19. Now I’m a husband and a father of 4 beautiful children with not much time at the age of 31. They just d I don't want him. He didn't fit their 'agenda'. Later he got a job at a small Catholic.College in texas is something like a provost For student affairs. One incident , he called out a coach and players for ethics violations. He was done. I will keep watching your cbannel.

Im 24 and took the asvab when I was 19 or so. I did so bad I don’t even remember what my score was but after 5 years of nursing I’m leaving that field to go to the army and I’ve been watching the videos of yours they sent me and I think im ready to make this jump and change my career into the army ! for number 10 i crossed bultiplied 10 by 4 and then 800 by one, divided 800 by 40 and got the same answer. i put them into a proportion as i learned in your proportioning video!
When you need to find the sum of the item price and the sales tax of the good or total, I find it easier to multiply the good by the sales tax with a “the whole plus the percentage” unit- for example, [Item price: $32; sales tax: 2%- 32 x 1.02]. And that is correct.

Good luck! Just keep in mind that, to validate the test, they will sometimes randomly roll you into the full version of the test. If that happens, you have an opportunity to score even higher!
Got a 7 on the sample test. Im 22 haven’t taken a test like that in ages or didn’t even know what was going to be on it. I will come back to this comment either weeks or months later to prove it all takes time.
i took the PiCAT and scored a 28 and then i took the actual asvab and got a 18 but i go back May 19th and my friend recommended you bcuz when she took her test the third time she made a 70!!!
I completed the full ASVAB and earned a 90 with a GT score 125. The arithmetic portion was easier on the ASVAB than GrammerHero’s videos. GrammerHero’s mathematic videos are carbon copies of the math portion on the ASVAB. The best way to master the math and arithmetic sections is repetition of the problems. My study tips are to complete his longer videos twice. If you have issues with a particular math problem and need further explanation, copy and paste the problem into ChatGPT. You can do one of two things: ask for further explanation or ask for examples of similar issues.

For the ASVAB and PiCAT, you have to learn and memorize these formulas on my reference sheet: www.asvabapp.com/Reference.pdf I strongly believe that you really should memorize your times tables as well as the formulas in my reference sheet to do well on the test. But yes, they will provide you with scratch paper during the test, and you can write whatever you want on it.

Im 24 and took the asvab when I was 19 or so. I did so bad I don’t even remember what my score was but after 5 years of nursing I’m leaving that field to go to the army and I’ve been watching the videos of yours they sent me and I think im ready to make this jump and change my career into the army ! for number 10 i crossed bultiplied 10 by 4 and then 800 by one, divided 800 by 40 and got the same answer. i put them into a proportion as i learned in your proportioning video!

When you need to find the sum of the item price and the sales tax of the good or total, I find it easier to multiply the good by the sales tax with a “the whole plus the percentage” unit- for example, [Item price: $32; sales tax: 2%- 32 x 1.02]. And that is correct.
You can do it either way, but my method works for harder problems.

Good luck! Just keep in mind that, to validate the test, they will sometimes randomly roll you into the full version of the test. If that happens, you have an opportunity to score even higher!

I completed the full ASVAB and earned a 90 with a GT score 125. The arithmetic portion was easier on the ASVAB than GrammerHero’s videos. GrammerHero’s mathematic videos are carbon copies of the math portion on the ASVAB. The best way to master the math and arithmetic sections is repetition of the problems. My study tips are to complete his longer videos twice. If you have issues with a particular math problem and need further explanation, copy and paste the problem into ChatGPT. You can do one of two things: ask for further explanation or ask for examples of similar issues.

Just solve the question as if you were taking the actual test: work out the question on scratch paper and then move on.

Durring the test, are we allow to draw our own multiplication table on a sheet of paper?
For the ASVAB and PiCAT, you have to learn and memorize these formulas on my reference sheet: www.asvabapp.com/Reference.pdf
I strongly believe that you really should memorize your times tables as well as the formulas in my reference sheet to do well on the test.
But yes, they will provide you with scratch paper during the test, and you can write whatever you want on it.
on question 5 im a little confused on where you got the 3 from? i suck at math so its probably a dumb question but ive watched it like 4 times already and idk how you got 1.75 times 3?
If you look at the answer choices, 5.25 / 1.75 must equal one of them, and $3.00, which is the first one I tried, worked.
