It sounds beautiful and makes me want one. The only things I need now are the skill and ability of David Mead, not to mention his amazing musical knowledge. Legend!
We just got one of these in at the guitar shop I work at. It's quickly becoming one of my favorite acoustics! It doesn't sound too small, is super easy to play, and great price for an all-solid Martin. I like it more than the GS Minis we have. Not too impressed by the pickup system (a little muddy to me), but I may just need more time figuring out how to properly EQ the little guy. Would recommend.
Michael stupid fuck i got 3 of them and do you think They are the same , no depends age !! I got the first and latest and its differents for sure so think after dude
Hi! I bought Martin Djr 1 month ago. Few days ago I found that my guitar has buzzing on high frets (on frets where neck joins body at). I thought that I need to low the action, but I found that string height at 12th fret (capo on 1st) is 1/10 inch, not 1/8. I tried to low the action, but I couldnt make ideal 1/8 inch string height, but when I lowed the action I have more 'buzzing' frets. What I need to do? What ideal string height at this model?
+Fabian H. I must have written that before seeing the whole video! :P I still think it sound a little like piezo unplugged too. Maybe the mic is compressed.

Interesting mic position, am I right? In front of the neck at about fret 5??? but angled towards soundhole?
Can you tell us about the microphone set up?
Does anyone know the second song? Played with pick
Wonderful video!!! I'm thinking of buying this fantastic guitar. Would you recomend to buy martin d. jre or taylor academy 10e &12e?
Really like this guitar. Nice size . Will have to test drive one soon. :-)
David does the shortened scale length of the neck mean that it is not so good for drop tunings?
May I ask what strings you are using? I think they are shipped with monel strings which are all silver.

Hello Elvis! measure it by 2.5 mm On LOW E and 1.6 mm on High e (12 fret not the fretboard)
nice played
Why does it always sound better with the mic then plugging it in?
Probably more natural? Idk
@@Christian-oi7sd due to the extra room sound
This or the Taylor Academy 10?
What song does he open up with in this video?
Are they dual-sourcing? Why do I hear piezo quack? Don't plug in a guitar if you're doing an acoustic demo!

is it all solid wood ?
Some have dry rot.
It's Charlie Drake ! I always wondered where he'd gone.
Mines strings play a bit too tight
