What's crazy for smokepurrp is that he had worked on music with Lil Peep, had early music with XXXTENTACION and was a part of the Dreamville album a couple years ago. I think what's rough for him career-wise is that he kind of put himself in a box when it came to his music, and when people are looking for more meaningful music after the fuckery of the last few years the 2016 strategy doesn't work. A lot of the high school fans of Purrp and Pump are either graduating College, Starting college, or working dead-end jobs where the music doesn't resonate the same. I think a lot of people could look to Future, or Lil Baby on how to break out of that box because they've shown that they can make club bangers and emotional songs without detracting from their brand. Considering that Smokepurrp was a producer first I think he should probably try to get some production placements and put his rap career on hold so that he can try to work on developing his sound in private and hype up new music since he has the connections.

To show you're in on the conversation, sometimes you try to hate on certain things... to be more 'in it' or whatever. But take a good look at this show and ask yourself what it is giving hip-hop that it's not able to generate for itself... and then look at the amount of drama-stirring and straight trash-TV bait mixed in. That activity replaced a good chunk of what used to be "TV time" for most people online years ago. But some still hold onto this idea that there is some priority to have between short and long comments. You're never reading all of them, though. Also... you're already reading youtube comments. What person who values their time does that? This is what I do to WASTE time.
I don't really understand people's youtube comment priorities. My long comment is no different from 10 other short comments that this same person probably read to even get to mine... and then took the time to let me know they skipped it... which in all actuality took as much as, if not more time than just reading it would've in the first place! I've given up on ever getting it.
