Try to braid yourself and save money. Don't be afraid be brave and do it . 🙏🏾🙏🏾👑👑
Don’t sell yourself so short! Your vocabulary is more than sufficient. Also, your “crispy” partings are _beautiful!_ I’ve seen ladies that have braids with janky parts and it it makes the whole style look shoddy. Even if it’s just 2 French/dutch braids, it makes such a huge difference!
I’ve been braiding for years, and I even picked up a few gems from this video. Thanks for the great content!
Parting is definitely one of my weaknesses. But I really learned alot from this video. Thanks.
Parting is my problem and tucking the hair can be difficult if u don't have enough hair.
You’re gonna help me be self sufficient in hair styling. Idc how long it take Lord, them hurrdressas aren’t getting anymore money out of me😩😩
One of my weaknesses is the consistency of having the braids the same exact size. I feel like some of my braids are bigger or smaller than others. Anyone else have that problem? Also going to the braiding shops sometimes I don’t feel like my hair is full enough. I know my hair is thick and long and I always say I will pay extra so I can get the fullness I desire but she doesn’t do it. Should I try someone else? I have been going to her for years and I’m one of those loyal customers so what do you think?
OMGGGG YES 😩 I hate that so much when the braids are not ALL the same size 😑. I think if u keep telling her about the size u want and she keeps not listening it’s about time u do find someone else who can fill ur requests 👌🏽
I have same problem with braiding sometimes i think my braids are not the same size
If you aren’t happy with your services you have every right to go to someone else you are paying your money
When clients have a lot of hair sometime the stylist gets overwhelmed but the volume. You have to find someone who has a passion and patience
This was the BEST explanation I’ve seen to date. I thought there was something wrong with my technique because I’m the person taking forever to part. I’m now confident that it’s the process. You explain that very well. Thank you 🙏🏽
From a non-braider who is trying to learn, you did a beautiful job explaining the process of braiding. Thank you very much!!!
Thank you, thank you, thank you! Great tutorial! Definitely gonna try this braiding pattern the next time I braid my hair. Don’t you EVER knock yourself Sis. You are talented and we appreciate you sharing your gifts and your expertise ❤❤
You did an excellent job of explaining. I have very big problems with the grip. I think adding the hair in will be better for me. Never stop practicing your craft because in everything you do, you should give 100%. So if you have to do it a thousand times, do it. They are getting quality.
I started braiding in December on myself and recently got my first client. This video helped me a lot thank you!
I have to comment again.
I have been getting braids for decades. (Seriously) and I am so picky about people doing my hair. This is so great, and you are helping folks. Tell em!!❤
Give your self more credit sis! You explained this very well.. I now understand this style and how to execute it. I've watch so many videos but your the truth for this one thanks 1000!
Very informative. I am a Braider and this installation of knotless braids is on point and easy to do. I thank you for demonstration. Blessings to you.
“Brick laying”……… you did very well Sis. Love this video ☺️
Def learned a few things I didn’t know! Thank you for sharing…I’m planning to do knotless braids on my daughter (for the first time!) and these tips will def come in handy 😊
You and me both! I added this to my saved playlist for future reference. Thank you!!!💖
I plan on doing some on my little cousin in few weeks. I'm so prepared from this video!! ❤️
Great tips! Also I believe using a hot comb prior to large knotless would really help🙂I'm gonna try as well
Thank you so much I’m learning to braid my daughters hair and you definitely are dropping mad gems 💎 🩷
I think you did a great job explaining and demonstrating! Nice work 🖤
You are one of the best Beautician that I have ever watched be so professional in describing from A to Z exactly how to braid hair. And your work speaks for itself. You are amazing. Love your voice, very well spoken. Thank you so much 👍.
Omg really ! I appreciate this comment so much !!! Thank you girl 😭💖💖💖
9:33 baby girl you are doing EXCELLENT!!! Very detailed… every word and step is understandable.
Omg, you're the BESTEST!! 💯💚 Thank you so much for time and for explaining this so well. Stay blessed young lady!!
I ♥️your presentation of braiding! Especially, when you use slo-mo that helps big time for me bc I’m left trying to figure out how the heck did they do that?!🙄 I’m learning how to braid so, I can do it myself instead of waiting for the next appointment.
Your tutorials are great! (this my 2nd vid)I just literally subbed you! Keep this vids comin’!!! 😊 Thank you for sharing your excellent ~craft with US♥️🙏🏽✨
Excellent with neatness, expertise, and teaching. Thank you!
Excellent video! I just started braiding and your tips are very clear and helpful.
Many thanks😊
Amazing video!!! Helped sooo much! My mom attempted knotless braids on me and ATE 🥰❤️🔥 Thank you!
You’re making perfect sense. Ty so much for your tutorials. Very helpful 😊
Very informative and great visuals. Your add in hair is different from others and I think easier for me, definitely going to try. Thanks
I’m so happy you said start off with smaller braids if your just starting off learning to do knotless braids that helped me out so much. I haven’t done braids in years but my oldest daughter is in hair school and she has a lot of clients so her little sister isn’t priority anymore which is understandable, but my sisters still do hair and they were like stop paying so much money and start learning the new styles when my 18 year old can’t do my 16 year old daughters hair and your teaching is wonderful. I have watched a few videos and nobody said start off with smaller ones so thank you!!! ❤
That part bc I thought the bigger the EASY!🫣 now, I know better from her excellent tutorials 🫶🏽🙏🏽✨
This was great. Thank you so much for all the tips. I’m braiding my daughters hair for the first time and I keep stopping and watching videos to make sure I don’t mess up. This was very helpful!
Yes i try my best ! You got this though . Pay close attention to my hand placement
@@The.EbonyJay yes ma’am. I’m going at a snail pace but we got all rows to above her ears before my back gave out. We can finish up tomorrow. I am nervous about the top, but so far everything looks good for my first try.
This was me when I started on my hair I watched like 3 different videos and they all had their own style I was getting frustrated but I didn’t give up
Yes, your vocabulary is just fine
I love the way you took your time with the parts. Very very helpful. Thank you!
Really great video. The explanations were clear and the tips were made up of really practical content. Thank you.
Thank you so much for this video I have done my daughter hair twice and I am still learning new things
Your explanations are SOOO helpful! As a beginner who struggles with parting the most, after countless videos and even classes I’ve paid for, your video is so helpful! I got stuck thinking parting from crown to ear was the only way but I love how you work around the head. I’m definitely applying your tips. Thank you so so much ❤
Yes sometimes people don’t like that line going from crown to ear to ear
yall this girl is so talented!!
Wow you are so right about large braids it's a lot to think about... I tempted to braid my granddaughter hair with jumbo braids and sure enough I ended up doing medium size braids instead.. I sure thought it would be simpler, how I was mistaken I didnt know what the heck I was doing 😅♥️
I am looking at different videos. I truly appreciate you taking the time to explain. Bless you 😘
we call it "windows and doors" in dance, idk if others use it too but thats what we say for "between the lines" basically or ive heard braiders say "brick layered"
Very thoroughl! I've been braiding for some crazy years as a professional braider. And your teaching game is on point! Thanks dear
I understand what your saying. I honestly thought a lot of braiders do this and exactly how you say about the curved braids at the top....I like when my braids ends up like that....that lets me know I'm doing right.....thanks for the info❤❤❤
Your tips and explanations are perfect. I’ll be using this video to help me braid my (9yo)daughter’s hair better. We recently combed out her locs and have been wearing braids. They only last about a week before I have to redo it. Practice makes perfect & this video helped me see where I was messing up. Thank you for this turorial!! ❤
I combed my daughter’s locs out too and her styles aren’t lasting long either🤔
@@sequoiahanderson5046 I started using jam on her braids. I noticed that her box braids now last longer but them cornrows don’t stand a chance. Rt. Now she’s rocking her two strand twists and loving it lol.
Good day. I almost didn’t watch this as I assume it was similar to other videos. Babeee, you came out da gate with tips. I’m taking notes. 💯
Two things, would have like to have seen or heard you say how many braids you started as your anchor or shown the back. Second, your explanations were on point. Give yourself lots of credit. The video was so self explanatory. Thanks Queen. New subscriber alert😛🔥🔥🎉🎉
This has been very informative and helpful. I will view this video again. Thank you so much for explaining in detail.
I appreciate you taking the time to explain your technique. Excellent video!
Excellent job. You sound just like me. It’s all about the part and making sure your feeding in the right amount of hair.

What is crazy is sometimes i get frustrated trying to explain things cause i feel like i don’t explain it well but i think since that’s so relatable people understand
You did an amazing job 🫶🏼 I braided for years. I started my career in Atl with braids but I live in Cali now and I don’t have the opportunity so I’ve had to go a completely different route in the field but you did and said exactly what I would in a video 😂 and the parts 🤌🏼 I miss braiding so much 😢

You Def taught me well I did my own braids off your video thank you so much.

Thank U So Much I Really Appreciate What You're Doing 😊
Thanks for the tips!!! Beginner braider here.
Thanks for the video. I wish to see how you finished with the tips. Thank you
I love how you explained it. I could tell you weren’t as confident in your word choices, but you did a fantastic job.
U definitely answered my questions about the parts in the front bc i get real confused. Great tutorial, thanks!!! Also i have that same braiding rack!!! I love it and you’re right about the metal comb🥰🥰🥰
@@The.EbonyJay i saw that you use magic fingers, does that give a better hold than Shine n Jam (yellow jar)?
I did learn a lot because I was struggling with braiding to the root so imma practice more cus I'm trying to do my own hair in like a week or 2
I learned something, new . Thank you 😊
love the video. how many packs of each hair did you use ? I did see your link, will purchase. I've been braiding off and off for years but always struggle with how many bags of hair i need. Doing these on my 14 yo for her birthday.
Great advice i love the explanation
Yes I understand the parting. When I'm finished it is suppose to look like layers of bricks👍gotcha.
Beautiful work. It's called "BRICK LAYER".
Very helpful and informative. Thank you very much.
Beautiful work! Where did you get the hair rack from???
I’m doing these braids for the first time Sunday on my daughter hair this video helped me a lot my issue im having is how to I add hair is it a certain way to put it around the natural hair?
