When you import into your mail list provider (I am on MailerLite) do you run an automation those emails? Or do you just dump them into your list for the regular newsletter distribution?

Best to enroll them into a couple of onboarding emails first to orient them, make sure they put you in inbox, not going to junk. Then add to regular list. David Gaugran has good mailer lite tutorials on this i think.

Hi Mona, newsletters, promos, pre-order announcements, and giveaways are some ways to take advantage of that list! I'm sure there are many other ways, but those come to mind.

Hi Greg. How does book swapping work? How do you interact with the swappers after you read their book? I did a book swap with another author and did not know what to do after reading the book; worse yet, I have no idea if the other person read my book or even downloaded it?

Hi CM, I’m not too familiar with book swapping. I know about email swaps where authors share books to the other’s list in the hopes of getting new subs. Straight book swapping can be difficult to track unless u have some kind of tracking links or something. So I would recommend email swaps as an easier way to track. This bookfunnel vid is essentially a large email swap concept. Share the link to the promo with your list and the subs start coming in. Thanks for watching!
