- I'm back at the Lake Of Dreams!
Picture this - A house where you can watch TV, receiver in hand and your rods in the water! This isn't just any lake, it's full of what we call 'NossaPigs".
Dean has been proactive in managing the fish population. He’s removed everything under 20 pounds to boost biomass and enhance fish growth rates. The results? Jaw-dropping. The water quality is pristine, and the fish are thriving.
We estimate around 60 fish in the lake, with six weighing over 30 pounds.Rumour has it that a couple of fish might tip the scales at a whopping 40 pounds. And then there’s the elusive leather (yes, a mid-40-pounder!) that has dodged both nettings.
We also head to Outlaw Pro Open Day, so expect some foodie bits!

Only been carp fishing for just over a year now with my 2 young sons aged 11 and 14 and love it. To be honest we blank most of the time🤣 but we keep going and the 3 of us are all on about 17 pounds ish as our pb, s but we are getting there and I watch TH-cam all the time for tips like making my own rigs. I’ve literally this weekend bought a spod rod and real and just started leding about to find better spots to fish. My goal last year was to get a 20 pounder but unfortunately it didn’t happen but this year will 🤞 be our year. I’m experimenting with different baits and finding out what works best for us. Only just started using solid bags couple of weeks ago and got 5 out in 3 hours at a place I’ve never caught a carp in a dozen times so was made up. Keep the videos coming for enjoyment purposes but also it certainly helps the likes of myself to progress and I shall give Parker baits a try at some point 👍

So 2 years ago you filmed a video of a lake saying 40+carp and know you have the lake record at 36 ? I’m not a hater but really fish a mates lake isn’t going to be the best achievements with a lake record when stocked with 40+ two years ago or more
I fish this place two times a year; anglers do not heavily fish it. These fish are uncaught. There aren't daily catch reports to build knowledge.
This fish is the biggest fish to be caught in this lake. But there are, without a doubt, bigger fish over 40lb in weight in this lake.
