I dont like that you oversprayed a good piece of art. Try practicing on a piece of sheet wood before atempting on a wall with other artist.
It's a legal wall. It's there for you to practice. If you don't want your stuff overpainted don't paint there
good advice, bad reason. its a legal wall so everyone who paints there knows their work will get capped eventually
legal walls are made for that bruh
Can't believe you went over someone with this shit.
Cant belive u never did
OOOOOOOO!!!!!! 😂😂😂
Bros gonna get jumped for that 😂
The thing is, you are kinda supposed to practice on paper for multiple weeks before attempting something like this.
Multiple years infact
@@d1kkgdI mean you can go to a legal wall after practicing for a few months because its meant to be trained on
@@Lorgier yea but it saves money when you learn the letters properly on paper, then you practice the wall. Ig you could like practice throwups or tags on a wall w spray paint but its still better to practice on paper first so that you save money like i said
@@d1kkgd def not multiple years. If you catch the basics quick, and practice enough, sketch your first straight letter and then rock it on the wall. I mean, why would I want a great wildstyle in my blackbook if I have clue what is can control and cant put it on a wall? In graffiti you should learn step by step from trivial letters to complicated ones. And sure you should be sketching more than you are writing but not forget about doing what graffiti actually is about.
@@Kutas-rk2mv im saying years if you trynna learn like wildstyle and the big pieces n shit cuz usually you dont learn them in just a couple of weeks or months
i used to write graff back in the 00's right as the world was ending. idk what you guys are gonna write about now
Don’t cap other people’s work if you piece is a lot worse than theirs, especially if you show parts of their piece behind yours which is seen as disrespect. Practice in books for ages, learn bars, letter structure, flow, and your style will develop over time. All this comes with practice and patience.
its a legal wall
@@CeePnG yeah I know your guaranteed to get capped on a legal wall but the unwritten rule is to make a piece just as good or better. Beginners are fine too but yk not someone whos done it for a day who doesn't know anything, which isn't their fault.
i don’t remember clicking on toy story
Oh man. You opened the door the a wild type of comment section with this lmao.
Fr, attracted a whole community
@@UnchartedLive the community of people who comment about graffiti but don't do it. Good luck
@@JustGetUp Yooo your vids are dope man
Best way of learning graffiti is to start on paper. Learn you basics and letterstyle. To learn can control, buy and build a wooden wall in your garden/garage to practice. Than practice your skills on a safe spot. DO NOT MESS UP GREAT WORK AT A LEGAL HALL OF FAME. You will be hated for it and you'll never get te respect of the community.
Nah I swear the videos are only getting better
yeah nah.
I’m getting graffiti style tattoos on my legs as I watch this 😂 also, I fw your video quality, you deserve more and you’ll earn more, keep grinding ❤
That's crazy😂
Here are some tips that could help you, So first of all try painting on a piece of paper and try to use a marker with a rounded tip also try the basic styles like tags or throwies, oh and btw you should practice more on your nickname because it can be mistaken by a crew name, I recommend you to get a good nickname that you feel that you can flow the style of the letters with each other. Other tip would be to know the rules of graffiti and know some of the words that writers usually use like, bombing, racking, chill spot, heaven spot, toy, etc etc...
One way that I consider that is really good to practice, is to make your tag, throwie, piece several times on a piece of paper. For example if you want to get better at your tag you can do it 100 times your tag on a piece of paper, this way you will develop style and flow.
Btw dont cap (cover other people art) one of the rules of graffiti is that you have to do something way better than the other person to cover their art, also you have to remember this (Throwies over tags and pieces over throwies) One of the youtubers I could recommend is The Artist Block, he makes a lot of tutorials, pretty much everything you need to go before getting up in this hobby
Tags: like a signature that contains your nickname, is easy, simple and fast to do
Throwie: a bigger piece of graffiti that is easy and basic it can have your crew name or your nickname and its easy to make
Usually it has a bubbly style
Piece: a bigger graffiti, its complex and has a lot of detail
I hope you find this helpful, and you have potential man, graffiti is something that can get you years of practice and its hard, but with a bit of patient and time you can be really good at it. Peace
Thanks for the advice man
Bro you went about it in a super scholarly way at first but you didn't go all the way. You need 3 things imo: a tag, a throwie (bubble letters) and optionally some straight letter. Design & practice all of these in your blackbook ad nauseam, then hit the streets with confidence, muscle memory and a clear plan. Once you got these down to a science you can move on to more complex pieces, characters, etc. Also dont bother with these guys crying about you going over a practice wall LOL. Finally, I think to rly get the experience of grafitti you gotta hit the streets, it's a whole diff setting from a legal wall and the adrenaline you get is the core of the experience.
do a longer part 2 i just wanted to watch more apart from that great video
Hey josh
@@theodoyle wtf how did u find this
good attempt on that peace bro but you need more experience i would recommend starting with bubble style its just more simple and better do start also try to do an out line with a thin cap then fill in with a fat cap like a pink dot or an ny fat cap
just keep it simple when you start and make sure to buy a sketch can to play around with your peace so you can get it to a point where you like it and then fill in out line and add a drop shadow
Thanks for the advice bro, I'll take that into account
nah i'd argue the thing that one should start with is simple straight letters. just draw letters out segment by segment, which is the key. structure in your letters is everything. bubble style is cool but it requires a bit more of a finer hand because minor changes in how you do some curved line can lead to a major difference. straight letters I find to be a bit less demanding in this sense.
Great video. keep it up and you'll blow up for sure :)
nah bro went over pieces dont do that again
It's a legal wall, people go there to practice and go over pieces all the time
thats only a rule on the streets its fine at legal spots
more precisly: murals go over pieces, pieces go over throwies and throwies go over tags
good effort. Keep going👍👍
great video keep up the good work
Great video. Was cool, enlightening, and entertaining. Wish it was a few minutes longer !
The quality on this vid is crazy for a 200 sub channel
def needs more views
Harder than it looks ay? I’ve been practicing for 4 years and still not quite there. For a first timer, your piece looks alright, what I suggest is finding your unique style to define you works
I’ve been practicing for 4 years too lol
Awesome video as always boys
Great vid! You defo should practice more and become a graffit youtuber!❤
Can't wrap my mind around u only having 200 subs. Great vid quality
why does the youtube algorithm hate you
Do more of these videos cheers from NOHA good luck in the future❤❤❤
Here's a tip for you since your new like I am you and me are considered toys and if you are confused on what I mean you can look up what a toy is in graffiti and you can find some good vids that explain it really well
Another tip start with your base text then outline it and then add your shadows it makes it a lot easier
this is fire, keep it up!
Don't go over someone who is better than you
Edit: also practice on paper first and learn letter structure before you go on the streets
Draw your piece on a piece of paper first. Then bring it when you do a wall. You'll avoid mistakes like "ucharted" then.
It takes years of practice becoming good at grafitti.
Work on your tag, and if you like doodling, draw several pieces on paper first.
A good tip is to use normal paint n paint brush for the coverup/background. cheaper than cans.
Love the video, don't be discouraged by comments on TH-cam!
Thanks for the feedback bro :)
5:27 Orange really is the new black
try sketching something on paper first before you go to a wall I asure you its gonna be way better if you put some time and effort into a piece before painting it on a wall and you could also try something simpler like a throw up, blockbuster or straight letter. and also remember to not paint over something that you think is better then your own work but if theres no space other than that try to cover it fully and not leave a trace of the thing below you because its a sign of disrespect. but really cool vid love the editing.
its a kegal wall bruh.
@@CeePnG the same thing applies to a legal wall
The second one is a bit better
I’ve always wondered how do you decide who to go over at a legal wall?
It was a pretty awkward decision because there's never a piece that deserves to be gone over, but the one I chose felt like the easiest to cover up versus other ones which would've been more obvious
Less detailed and lower quality pieces
It’s the pink dots bro they use too much paint just use ny fats
it is very hard lol, 7 months in and im still not very good at it. also keep in mind some of graffitis rules, dont go over peoples works unless you can do better than them, if you go over someone make sure to go over them fully to avoid getting in beef, practice in books first before going on walls, and dont tag on cars, houses, churches, graveyards, and small businesses. im glad to see someone else into graffiti that started doing it themselves, i hope to see you continue trying to improve. i reccomend checking pinterest, studying graffiti in your city and online. theres plenty of tutorials out there on how to have can control, flow, unique letters, etc. good luck if you decide to continue writing
it may seem like a daunting task at first but trust me, just practice daily and youll improve. maybe link up with other writers in your area and they can help you out
also i reccomend choosing a 4 to 5 letter name, thats the sweet spot. a 3 letter name like DWE are usually used by graffiti crews (OSM, 1UP, etc) but a name like UNCHARTED could work because there are artists with longer names (WEKMAN, KUPHOXA, etc) but those names take some time to paint and a lot of paint to finish them.
its a legal wall + you should. try to get better before giving advice. toy teaching beginner = toy
@@CeePnG who cares if its a legal wall? still looks disrespectful to not cover someones stuff entirely. plus i see your channel banner, youre not good either, you need to work on your negative space management. im just trying to help this guy out thats all. im also practicing trying to get better. i clearly know more than you on this topic since you dont even know basic graffiti fundamentals and respect to other writers. how about you get better before throwing around the word "toy" like you arent one.
@@CeePnG also take that crown off of your pfp, you arent a graffiti king in any area
wow the camera man did such a great job
W cameraman
This in Toronto?
I appreciate the effort put in, but I couldn’t get past the second challenge. You got your things to learn horribly wrong. Learn history and rules. Come up with an original name. Master a hand style. Draw till your hand falls off. Then get paint and paint illegally.
I know you just started but you did in a pro and your toy
uhm what the sigma toy ahh
bro is so toy
Need a name first
Stop bro
You tagged over someone tag 🫵🏾😂😬👊🏾👊🏾👊🏾👊🏾👊🏾
