    I love asparagus.
    An introduction?! That's new.
    And I absolutely love prawns.
    Pace of the video should be up to what you feel comfortable doing.
    If it ends up being 10 minutes long, I think that's ok.
    Well now I'm hungry.
    Poor camera man, I hope he didn't go hungry ^_^

      I don't eat asparagus very often but I love it too!
      Yes for the introduction and pace, we received some good feedback and thought that would be a good idea to work on that. Now for the pace it was easy because it's a pretty straight forward video, let's see with the next ones ^___^ And for Cy don't worry, I'm not a monster... 😜

    Wonderful recipe and thank you! Only thing I did differently is that I like my shrimp extra crunchy so I first cook it in canola oil (higher heating point than olive oil) over high heat. Then I remove it and lower heat and add the garlic and vegetables like you say. Then add shrimp right before the sauces. Both ways very good!

    • @NinisCooking
      @NinisCooking  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      This is another great way to cook this dish. Do you mean you "over cook" your shrimps? or do you just cook it few seconds on the first round?

    • @barryw2659
      @barryw2659 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@NinisCooking I want to get a charred taste so I only cook it for a few seconds, until it is about 80% done. Then I add it later (at lower heat with the vegetables) for the remaining 20%, before adding the sauce. Edit- By the way, sometimes I also do the same thing when I make Tom Yum soup. I will chargrill the shrimp in a wok and then add it later to the Tom Yum soup. The difference in texture and flavor is very good! :)

    • @NinisCooking
      @NinisCooking  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@barryw2659 Very interesting point then! (I was afraid you cooked it a bit too much and for shrimps I really don't like overcooked at all). But explained like that.... I have to try!

    That would be delicious! I love asparagus and that's the first Thai dish I saw using it. Very nice combination with the prawns and mushroom. I guess it would be a bit expensive though in Thailand because I think it needs to grow in a cool temperature.

    • @NinisCooking
      @NinisCooking  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It certainly is delicious Tim, trust me! 😉 And yes as I mentioned, I can't think of any other Thai dish with asparagus. It also is a tiny bit more expensive than other vegetables indeed, maybe because of the growing requirements as you said. But I'm not sure, I should try to actually get an answer to that!

    • @timotot123
      @timotot123 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@NinisCookingI'm quite sure it needs to grow at quite a cold temperature so I guess they use maybe a factory with cold aircon or something like that. If it's only a little more expensive than other regular veges than it's definitely worth using it because it's so good. You should try cooking it on a grill as well or in a pan with some butter and a bit of salt and pepper to season. It's so simple and yummy
