think about it this way: the more you are aware of the path you need to take, the easier it is to accomplish what is laid out in front of you. this isn't the only reason, but if you show all your cards in the first half, the other team has a better chance of coming back than if you reserve - if they're a good team. so they're actually the smart ones to keep up, evaluate, and then dominate in the second half. it worked last year, and it will work this year.
