I'd look Ike to know how to adapt safe passing to 5v5 ProAm and Rec. I throw way more turnovers than I'd like. I have HoF bulletpasser, HoF needle threader, 99 pass acc. Sometimes I have a teammate post in the elbow with a defender behind him and as soon as I press pass my teammate runs behind him like he's trying to cut and the defender jumps in front. Another situation is when teammate is close to the defender and without jumping into the passing lane I pass it right to the defender. Another one is similar to the first example. I have a teammate run behind me from one wing to the other, an open wing and clean pass, but the game moves my teammates towards the corner and pushes a random defender that's near the elbow towards the wing/corner intersection and get a fast break steal.
naw that's your icon lead passing pimp. there's two settings: icon passing, which you can access from all menus, then there's icon LEAD passing, which you can only access in the practice facility, in a career game, or the main menu. turn off icon lead passing, and you won't have that problem any longer. I swear I have so much of this shit memorized from the past years. I got a whole gang of this stuff, the little stuff that many fail to realize or at least explain. anyway, this'll help homeboy out bangin bank whites from the wrap hash bro. good luck. cheers
pass target profile should be as follows(trust me): direction:80 distance:1 openness:19 most of the time, if you need a quick pass and don't have time to icon, you want the rock headed to where you're aimed. distance is for idiots that think that it does something because it absolutely does not. if you're on a fast break, and your man is leaking up court, your pass to him from you is a direct reflection of his glue hands badge level upon his catch, and your passing badges equipped, plus whether or not you're neutral, warm from 1 or more buckets(which cause your stats to rise gradually until takeover is activated i.e passing is 85 but after a few dunks is now an 87), or cold. For example, turn distance up to 98 and watch yourself make the same passes at the same speed to the same guy leaking. It doesn't affect your ability, trust me. In final, for the times you may be too deep into your offensive set and are looking to either reset to your pg or you can't see opposite hash because you're too far left or right and you need to make a quick pass with no time to icon, just in case you miss that direction, but you know theres a teammate open, now your openness kicks in and usually makes the right read for you, to compensate for a rushed analog action. you equip these bro and take off your icon lead passing like dude 2 comments up and you'll commit far less turnovers.

What's your Pass Target Profile Sam?

Should I put these controller settings on a big man?
What the heck happened to holding triangle to make them drive to the basket? I used to be able to hold it and cancel it.
i hear you bro. Very disappointed they removed that, it was an awesome mechanic
That's exactly why I'm here! That was a big part of my game. I guess that answers my question. It's gone 😭
Let me answer yall. If you double tap rb or r1 depending on the controller you can cancel a cut. Also the same while performing reciver control.
Quality info subbed cause I'm a nba2k scrub
