    That’s THE definition of muscle car-lightweight body with a big block and big meats in the back! Well done! 😎

    Very cool! The fact that he paid to have a concourse restored wiper motor done is pretty cool. Love that you have power brakes and a big block. Nice car kid!

    Nichols by Montauk highway? I had a 70 340 dart swinger, with a little work, ran 12.5s with a Mr gasket super shifter. I ran at National Speedway and the 495 and Nichols all the time. Same color, so don’t be surprised if someone asks you about it. Great car.

    My first car was a 70 slant 6 dart swinger.
    A friend had a 73 318 dart that got rear ended.
    I bought that off him for $300.
    My buddies and I jacked up both front ends as high as we could get them and dropped my K frame with the slant 6 and drum brakes, then dropped his K frame with the 318 and power disk brakes.
    Slid it under my car and after a few hours I was cursing Speedway Blvd that sat night.
    I wish I still had that car.

    I’m 383 swapping my 75 dart. The only issue is I bought a craigslist 383 for $80 and it’s seized and I’m only 16 so it’s going to be a while

    Good job. Looks like lots of fun. I was always under the impression you had to change the front k member out completely to go with a V8. That would save a lot of work if you didn't have to.

    ever regret big block swapping it? i know im starting to regret doing mine hah. but it was also manual swapped, so that doesnt help either. i know i wont ever be doing it again thats for sure.

    • @WyoCutlass71
      @WyoCutlass71 ปีที่แล้ว

      Why do you regret it? I am in the middle of getting a ‘75 Dart Swinger that someone started the swap to a 383 and I was wanting to finish it.

    Nice car. Id rather bore and stoke a 318 to a 390. Less weight in the nose and makes as much power for sure
