I do agree that dip pens are difficult to use. It has a huge learning curve. It took me a year to actually started get used to it. . . . No pressure on the last part. I might just be a slow learner. Who knows, you might get used to dip pens few months after starting it. But, the learning curve is true, so keep that in mind.
honestly for me dip pens don't really seem that hard to control, for me at least. if you have the right pressure and angle you can use them fairly easily, and dipping is the only annoying part along with the risk of leakage

I've been trying to learn how to draw in the past weeks and your videos definitely helped me alot obviously my drawings arent the best but i did see some improvements when i watched your videos
Best combo for me : Winsor & Newton brush series 7 (size 2 or 3) + Mitsubishi Uni Pin fine liners (or Copic multiliners) + Carbon Ink (waterproof) + Strathmore Bristol paper. But you can do gorgeous things with liners only. Take a look at Frank Cho's art ; he only uses Micron pens.
Everytime i see you uploaded a video i just get so happy, i love your art and tutorials, Next time please show us how to color manga i somehow lack in coloring manga i don't know what colors to use
