There is a small mistake in the video.
When I'm painting the highlights it says the colour Pallyd Witch Flesh is from Vallejo, it obviously isn't. It should say Citadel of course.

Is there a good mix for this color using either Vallejo, or other Citadel paints? Trying to use what I have - guessing an ivory with just the slightest hint of both green & gray might work to copy the Pallyd Witch Flesh

@@huckpott man, both rakarth flesh and pallid wych flesh are really hard to imitate. I prefer Vallejo colours myself and I don't know of any substitute in their range. I just buy the gw paints in this case.

Yes, those are very particular and honestly some of the best of the Citadel Range, well worth buying

This is a great recipe, been looking for something that will quickly get a couple hundred zombies and ghouls onto the table for KoW. I think I'll follow this, though restrict the highlights to the face only for the front rank, in the interest of time.

Oh yes, this is absolutely perfect for that kind of job. My personal recommendation is to pre mix a large amount of the wash in empty pots or bottles so you don't loose time mixing it.
And yes, for that amount of minis and using multibasing that would be perfect!

This is a really good tutorial, im going to paint my pox walkers this way as its just really quick and easy with great results. The Poxwalkers have bony protrusions on some of the models how would you tackle the transitions from rotting flesh to this?

Mmmm good question. I would probably Highlight as usual and then do glazes of Agrax Earthsade towards the top of the spikes to build up a darker colour in the tip and then a bit of Nuln Oil just in the very tip. I think that would work well

Not shaking your shades enough. Make sure there is NO residue in the bottom of the pot, that residue is the matting agent

Yes it's a thinner, medium is basically Acrylic paint without any pigment in it. My favourite and the one used here is Lahmian Medium by Citadel

JuanHidalgo Miniatures nope. Bad results lol. Tried zenithal (used standard mechanicus grey as my dark base, Corax zenith and 45 degrees followed by skeleton horde for your bone coloured armour.)
I won’t try this again. Contrast is clearly designed for a light, even base since it’s doing the shading for you. Thanks!

Yes it would for sure. Slight different tone but will work. A closer match would probably be thinned down Volupus or a mix of Volupus and Magos.
