Catholicism has too many man made traditions thar are against the teachings of Jesus, so a lot of it is false religion. The people are sincere, but the pope and anyone who submits to his teachings are in error! You are not to call a man on earth, Father (Priest), there is only ONE Father the One True and Living God! Only ONE way to the Father, by His Anointed Son, Messiah Yeshua (JESUS)

I believe all this is for him is just a personal reminder of the truth that this life is fleeting, like a vapor.... And that we all will die one day. It helps him keep his focus, as a follower of Jesus Christ, that this life is just temporal.... and that life is to be lived for a greater purpose... for Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ...
