as an Elsie Silver fan i COMPLETELY agree when you first start her books you can immediately tell its her writing and you feel right back in her world! I feel transported by her books and characters

However I still need to read As good as dead and finish The Atlas complex (I was in a reading slump when I was reading that one). Also I've been reading The serpent and the wings of night but I'm struggling to get into it (I will finish it eventually though but I've come to realise that I don't really like trials in books).
I wish I loved AGAD but for some reason it just made me so 😫😖🤒 her decision making was actually killing me. It makes sense, she’s so young and obviously young people make rash choices but still😭 GGBB is a 6 star though
My kindle font size varies between 9, 10 and 11 depending on what I am doing. If I am just holding it, it's a 9. And then when I am on my treadmill, I switch between 10 and 11. 🤭
Would you let me know how much spice is in the songbirds and the heart of stone? I have read the first book and the novella and could handle that amount of spice but I don’t want too much more if there is more than those two books. I am on hold for the second book at my library but I should get it in two weeks.

Me too. The Chestnut springs series is my favorite by her (though I don't really like Hopeless) but I love pretty much all of her books.
