I love cars of that era, you can see the influence of the "space race" in those days. The fins, the bubble glass... they made cars with the cues of spaceships. The tail lights on the Ford Galaxy looking like rocket engines.. great American automotive art.
Yeah they did have the fender mounted but round. The passengers mirror was optional though so a lot came with only a driver side fender mounted. Mine doesn’t have a passenger side mirror.
Shes a beautiful ride i would take that in a minute and i like the rims and tires makes it look like a hot rod not some boring car with side walls yep agree mirrors are weird but what a awesome ride you guys have some of the best classics
I have never seen those mirrors before, love the red and white, just look at the space race cues to it, I would leave it just the way it sits, that way you are not afraid to drive it, a little wider meats in back. I always thought the dual antenas were cool, great car guys, you won`t have this one long.
Great looking car guys,,,,,but there's no way that's original paint,,,,,,64 year old,,,,not buying it,,,,,I'm 69 years old grew up in my dad's body and paint shop and been doing it by whole life,,,,,love your videos man,,, always checking TH-cam for your videos and maple motors keep em coming,,,,,,thank you my name is Al Davis around April or May I'll be heading your way wanting to get at least 2 car from you,,,,, again thank you
One Day I Will Want A CAR from U Guys !!! If U can get get me a 1963 Mercury Monterey Convertible That is Blue With Black Interior !!! My Dad had one but sold it for only 1,000.00 dollars to the mailman back in 1980 when I was 12 years old !!! And I'm still pissed off about it !!! But it was more of a darker blue that I don't exact color of or what its called but it wasn't a light blue or sea foam kind of color!! I also remember him taking me to the muffler shop and putting Dual Road Runner Glass Packs on it !!!! And Damn I could Hear My Dad Coming from A Mile Away !!!!!!!And That is NO JOKE ..... But it wasn't good for me if I was in trouble from school cause I could hear him coming home from a mile away at least I say !!! The only problem I believe with those cars were something with the battery or wiring because ours started on fire !!! But those r easy fixes NOW !!! IF U CAN FIND ONE FOR ABOUT 17,000.00 OR SO IN A VERY DECENT CONDITION LET ME KNOW !!! I am not looking for a trailer Queen but one that is original and in good shape !!!👍👍✋✌👈❗❗❗
I rather buy it dirt and grim on engine compartment. The only time i have no issue with being cleaned up is if paperwork backs it up having heads or built done. Otherwise for me.. a survivor is a classic with years or decades of use.
Thank god it doesn’t have those crappy wheels and condoms for tires. I’m so sick of seeing these classics with shitbox rims and rubber bands it’s sickening.. Absolutely gorgeous car..
those morrors on fender are not original I owned one in 1976 and they are round from the factory not oval or rectangle like those are. It is a nice looking car though.

Gorgeous with the exception of the mirrors

That car looks very original. It’s very original. I’m not a pro but when you look at something like that the car is perfect. Good job guys.
I was 6 years old when my friends parents bought one brand new ,same color. Loved it.
Yes my dad had one
I love the 60 Chevrolet 😊❤ my buddy had a convertible 60 with a 283. ❤❤❤
Better looking than the 57 ❤
That’s a very sweet car
Just love it and that year has the mirrors on the fenders
I believe some 60 Impala's did have fender mounted mirrors, but the actual mirrors on this one are incorrect.
Single stem round mirror
@@leonbachman5345 Right!
I know the 59 had fender mounted mirror
Yeah they did have the fender mounted but round. The passengers mirror was optional though so a lot came with only a driver side fender mounted. Mine doesn’t have a passenger side mirror.
Great car, Great folks who always get on it. My favorite classic channel!
Much appreciated!

Beautiful car ! My older brother had one ! The mirrors I have never seen before. 2 door hardtop ! It rocks !
Very cool
Bought mine in 1964. Convertible. Had to sell it in 1966 to buy my first house for my wife and her three children. Still regretting it the sale
I would take that in a minute over the ford Fairlane almost at same price beautiful rid3😊😊
That year is one of best design, visually.
Hard to believe. What a beautiful car, my dad had the El Camino version of it.
Nice old cruiser.❤️👍
Sure is!
I bought a blue 60 Chevy in 1967 for 600.00 dollars,of all of the cars that I had it’s the one I miss the most.😢
That is one quiet motor.
Bu arabaları görünce içimi huzur kaplıyor onlarin gençlik dönemi bizimde gençlik donemimizdi ne guzel gunlerdi.
Bubble tops were cool,I bet Ralph Nader put the kybosch to them. Nice car.
For a survivor car, it’s beautiful.

Hi do you have the hub caps ?😃😎
Thank god it doesn’t have those crappy wheels and condoms for tires. I’m so sick of seeing these classics with shitbox rims and rubber bands it’s sickening.. Absolutely gorgeous car..

Back when Gm was king
ONE THING GUYS - Start showing the interior from the driver's side.
They sound like parots
$57,000. Is that price negotiable?
Perfect Car! minus the wheels 🤢
Wheels and tires just don't look right on this classic chevrolet. It needs whitewalls and nice hubcaps.
Love Cragar SS's on classics cars, but on an Impala I would do whitewall radials and not raised white letter tires.
Depending what you like original or hot rod style rims and tires look great on here myself don't even like white walls
who put those stupid mirrors on the front fenders?
Whyyyyyy!😢
59 had the ugly tail lights 😢
Too much yip yapping let’s hear the car run.
Those mirrors are hideous, look like they belong on a farm truck not a beautiful ole rig like this !
Horrible tires
