As you build your relationship with God and build a support group that is doing the same (this is very important), you learn to hear or feel when God is leading you. Right before this pandemic began to affect people, I bought food and prepped it for long term storage. We bought water, toilet paper, flu medicine and first aid products. Then we found out why we needed to do this. The Bible is full of stories like this. Joseph saved his family and all of Egypt from starvation during a 7 year famine, because God told him what to do ahead of time. The most important thing is to read your Bible, study it. It is not just a story book, there are so many layers and hidden truths to be revealed, I learn something new every day! God Bless You!!

@mal'ak emeth Methinks you didn't hear David Jeremiah right to begin with, maybe you ought to go back and listen again. This is not specifically about the Rapture. At 16:28 (give or take) Jeremiah says that pestilence will increase with more frequency just as the birth pangs indicate. He also says around the 12:00 mark, that future events cast their shadow before them. Is it specifically the pestilence Christ is speaking of? We will know for sure within a couple of years if they become more frequently and far less treatable. Cancer, herpes, hepatitis etc, I don't think qualify as a pestilence per se. Maybe you ought to step down from your ivory tower for a moment and listen to what is being said here by Jeremiah- only those alive at that time will see those signs and we can infer that it is a part of those signs but unless we are alive at that time, we can't say for sure. Do I see it as part of those signs? Yes, I think if we are anywhere it is at the beginning of the birth pangs however, how do I know? If we are at the beginning of the birth pangs, how long will they last? 5 years? 20 years? 100 years? 500 years? So, you see, Jeremiah is right. Is this part of the pestilence spoken of? Trying to get someone's attention, I've got family friends in the hospital &1 is in the ICU, his name is Andy & his father is not in ICU but tested positive & 1 of his kids is also in the hospital. I am a bit perplexed & grieved. We must first believe that He loves us so much that he sent His son to die for our sins and this belief comes by hearing the word of God. We must also confess that Jesus is the Son of God, repent and be baptized for the remission of sins. Once you are baptized in water Jesus adds you to His church; Romans 16:16; the churches of Christ salute you. God is the one who does the work in baptism and because of this it is not a work of man. We are saved by grace through faith and not we cannot merit or earn our salvation. Colossians 2:12 tells us that God does the work in baptism. There is no such thing as a sinner's prayer or asking Jesus into your heart; read Acts 2:38 which says "Repent and be baptized everyone of you in the name of Jesus Christ FOR THE REMISSION OF SINS and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. There are many false prophets who have gone out into the world and have deceived many people by saying all you have to do is believe. Jesus says,"He that believes AND is baptized will be saved. And he who does not believe will be condemned; Mark 16:15-16. Man says He that believes is saved which contradicts what Jesus says. In baptism one puts on Christ; Galations 3:26-27. Can one be saved without putting on Christ is baptism? Also read Romans 6:3-4 and see what happens in baptism. Baptism is the final step in becoming a Christian' "Arise and be baptized and wash away your sins." Remember today is the day of salvation. Once again visit a church of Christ and get in a bible study class and also if you have any questions talk to an elder he will be able to answer any questions. It is urgent that all be baptized as soon as one believes the gospel and trusts/obeys that God will wash away your sins by an operation he performs in baptism. Once again visit a church of Christ they teach the apostle's doctrine in the Book of Acts. Have felt a sense of urgency for some time. I'm an old man by the world's standards and have never had any prophetic dreams, but I had one a few months ago and I saw America in great distress on 10-4-2021. I think people were freaking out because a cosmic event happened. I'm not saying the rapture will occur on Oct. 4th, but I do believe the distress in America may well be a direct result of the rapture occurring sometime prior to that date. Again, I think this is a dream (vision) God gave me. I saw great confusion, distress, and shock throughout America.

Dreams of overwhelming nostalgia/euphoria in the pursuit of a real human purpose in which some immense event (that I am not wholly aware of) has occurred some time in the future. There is no difference between the rapture and the second advent; they are one and the same event. There is one opportunity that we are given to make our calling and election sure. Those who teach a 7 year period between the rapture and the return of Jesus are unfortunately being misled and are misleading. I know it sounds good to believe that there will be a second chance, but it is not scriptural. Read Revelation 22:11, the righteous will be righteous still, and the unjust will remain unjust at the coming of the Lord.

You really think he is preaching the truth about the end times. The Bible spans about 6000 yrs of human to God interaction. Jeremiah's end time message is a little more then 150 yrs. old. A 19th century invention. This wasn't even John Nelson Darbys idea, the rapture etc. etc. Darby stole this stuff from Edward Irving in a Lady Powerscourt meeting in 1831.

Amen, I agree, this is not a warning to me, these are birthing pains which is lining up with God's word, it's not the sign, but a sign, just like a woman giving birth when her women cervix begins to dilate, 1 is next to no pain, but when she get's to 10 the pains are unbearable, we are on God's timetable of birthing pains I believe where the pains are increasing, and I don't believe the church will be here to experience it all.

In John 3:16 it specifically states that For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have ever lasting life. Just 4 weeks ago I felt I needed to be anointed with oil and prayed for. I felt a spiritual attack, the next Sunday my roommate contracted the Corona virus. My roommate has healed from this virus and praise God that I haven’t become sick. I firmly agree that god protected all of his children when the 10 plagues of Egypt came, he protected his people then and also he will protect us now. I would recommend all Christians to anoint with oil and ask for Jesus to protect you from this deadly disease. My dear Margaret, I am praying for you and your son tonight. I just lost my daughter a few weeks ago to an accidental overdose. My daughter had clean time, was hopeful and had recently been released from the hospital. She struggled with mental health issues and broke down and used a week after release and passed away. Rev 11:10 describes the OPPOSERS of the two witnesses..(jehovahs witnesses) aa ones who( practice the)involve themselves In the exchanging of gifts. Snow999 If this is a legitimate question, it’s a great question! As you build your relationship with God and build a support group that is doing the same (this is very important), you learn to hear or feel when God is leading you.
Right before this pandemic began to affect people, I bought food and prepped it for long term storage. We bought water, toilet paper, flu medicine and first aid products. Then we found out why we needed to do this.
The Bible is full of stories like this. Joseph saved his family and all of Egypt from starvation during a 7 year famine, because God told him what to do ahead of time.
The most important thing is to read your Bible, study it. It is not just a story book, there are so many layers and hidden truths to be revealed, I learn something new every day!

At 16:28 (give or take) Jeremiah says that pestilence will increase with more frequency just as the birth pangs indicate. He also says around the 12:00 mark, that future events cast their shadow before them.
Is it specifically the pestilence Christ is speaking of? We will know for sure within a couple of years if they become more frequently and far less treatable. Cancer, herpes, hepatitis etc, I don't think qualify as a pestilence per se.
Maybe you ought to step down from your ivory tower for a moment and listen to what is being said here by Jeremiah- only those alive at that time will see those signs and we can infer that it is a part of those signs but unless we are alive at that time, we can't say for sure.
Do I see it as part of those signs? Yes, I think if we are anywhere it is at the beginning of the birth pangs however, how do I know? If we are at the beginning of the birth pangs, how long will they last? 5 years? 20 years? 100 years? 500 years? So, you see, Jeremiah is right. Is this part of the pestilence spoken of? Trying to get someone's attention, I've got family friends in the hospital &1 is in the ICU, his name is Andy & his father is not in ICU but tested positive & 1 of his kids is also in the hospital. I am a bit perplexed & grieved.

Have felt a sense of urgency for some time. I'm an old man by the world's standards and have never had any prophetic dreams, but I had one a few months ago and I saw America in great distress on 10-4-2021. I think people were freaking out because a cosmic event happened. I'm not saying the rapture will occur on Oct. 4th, but I do believe the distress in America may well be a direct result of the rapture occurring sometime prior to that date. Again, I think this is a dream (vision) God gave me. I saw great confusion, distress, and shock throughout America.

Dreams of overwhelming nostalgia/euphoria in the pursuit of a real human purpose in which some immense event (that I am not wholly aware of) has occurred some time in the future. And these dreams follow each other day by day sometimes almost like episodes. I am also not necessarily aware that I am dreaming in these dreams... There is no difference between the rapture and the second advent; they are one and the same event. There is one opportunity that we are given to make our calling and election sure. Those who teach a 7 year period between the rapture and the return of Jesus are unfortunately being misled and are misleading. I know it sounds good to believe that there will be a second chance, but it is not scriptural. Read Revelation 22:11, the righteous will be righteous still, and the unjust will remain unjust at the coming of the Lord.

You really think he is preaching the truth about the end times. The Bible spans about 6000 yrs of human to God interaction. Jeremiah's end time message is a little more then 150 yrs. old. A 19th century invention. This wasn't even John Nelson Darbys idea, the rapture etc. etc. Darby stole this stuff from Edward Irving in a Lady Powerscourt meeting in 1831.

When God calls you to be saved….accept his gift of eternal life!!!! May we all draw close to God while there is still time. May we fulfill our purpose to love and to draw others to Jesus!!!! Amen, I agree, this is not a warning to me, these are birthing pains which is lining up with God's word, it's not the sign, but a sign, just like a woman giving birth when her women cervix begins to dilate, 1 is next to no pain, but when she get's to 10 the pains are unbearable, we are on God's timetable of birthing pains I believe where the pains are increasing, and I don't believe the church will be here to experience it all.

In John 3:16 it specifically states that For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have ever lasting life. God’s son died for us that our sins would be forgiven. You can not take scripture out of context. Pick up you’re bible and continue to read the entire chapter from which you are speaking.

Just 4 weeks ago I felt I needed to be anointed with oil and prayed for. I felt a spiritual attack, the next Sunday my roommate contracted the Corona virus. My roommate has healed from this virus and praise God that I haven’t become sick. I firmly agree that god protected all of his children when the 10 plagues of Egypt came, he protected his people then and also he will protect us now. I would recommend all Christians to anoint with oil and ask for Jesus to protect you from this deadly disease. Put your faith into action and follow his word, if any of you is sick call the Elders and anoint you with oil and pray for you, the prayers of a righteous man has great power. donna smith the Elders are pastors,priests and deacons, look at James 5 and you can anoint yourself and pray with Olive oil for protection. Any Christian has the the power of Jesus name if their born again, and the oil represents Jesus being crushed for our sins. Nothing special about the oil but Jesus does honor his word, most of Jesus miracles used some type of faith by washing or dunking 7 times in the water to be healed. My dear Margaret, I am praying for you and your son tonight. I just lost my daughter a few weeks ago to an accidental overdose. My daughter had clean time, was hopeful and had recently been released from the hospital. She struggled with mental health issues and broke down and used a week after release and passed away. I pray for both of you that you can ask God to break these chains of addiction in your lives before it’s too late. Do you and your son know Jesus as your personal Savior? Rev 11:10 describes the OPPOSERS of the two witnesses..(jehovahs witnesses) aa ones who( practice the)involve themselves In the exchanging of gifts.

Instead of taking part In killing in the conflicts wars , they stood firm on their political neutral stance..and the choice they faced was there listed..specific only to them.
In many countries they faced fierce persecution..because of their stance..some were imprisoned..some in concentration camps
Interestingly..the length of the prison sentence handed down to the leading members of the IBSA( As jw,s were then called ) was 20 years
But a totally separate group fought for their freedom..and guess when they were released
