Hi, everyone :) Welcome to my channel :) I compile videos/clips from Chinese eating shows on Douyin & Kuaishou, which are Chinese social media platforms. Chinese mukbang is also known as 吃播 (eat and broadcast).
For those of you who are curious, - I’m pure Chinese, but not from China. I’m Malaysian Chinese (my race is Chinese, but my nationality is Malaysian xD. Basically, my great grandparents resided in China, haha).
The Chinese foods in many Southeast Asian countries are actually very similar or even the
same, as that in China (considering that Chinese food all over the world once originated from our Chinese ancestors who lived in China 😊) BUT having said this, I do not know everything about the food in China as I was not brought up there. Sometimes, dishes when carried overseas have evolved with richer/adapted flavours and new ingredients. Furthermore, China is a very big country and there are a variety of cuisines eaten by many different minority groups in China itself. Even foods differ when comparing northern or southern Han Chinese. (e.g. Chinese living in the South may not have tried sweet zong zi, whilst those in the North may not have tried salty zong zi;; Chinese living in Guangdong would eat dim sum very regularly whilst those living in other parts of China may not have even tried it).
So do feel free to correct me if there are any inaccuracies in my explanations/descriptions of the food.
I also translate the captions/provide English subtitles for those of you who do not read/understand Mandarin. But again, the Mandarin language in different parts of China differ slightly (in both writing and speech), and it also differs a lot from Mandarin that’s been adapted in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, etc. The Internet slags/idioms/phrases used by the mukbangers may sometimes be less familiar or less commonly used where I’m from. However, I try my best to convey what the captions/descriptions of the food given by these mukbangers are, so I hope you like the translations! 😊

And I also watch a lot of Korean mukbangs and eating shows. but apart from the world of food, I’m a Kpop fan (and I’ve been obsessed with Super Junior since I was 12, I’m 21 now lol).

OOH YEAH! She loves to eat breads with whipped cream! I find her breads so soft and they all look delicious! I personally would like to eat this with castella cake 😻 or brioche because here, near my home, in my supermarket there are homemade breads and brioche that have just come out of the oven 🥰 so when I eat them they are still hot hehe! I have already tried making brioche at home ... do I need to describe the result honestly? 😂 YOU KNOW THE DISASTER THAT I AM COME ON 😅😂 I HATE MYSELF LOL! But when I made it with my mother, it was really good and we even added chocolate chips! (I still burned a brioche but I hid it from my mother um ... it's our little secret Cyan 👀)
ALSO GURL! you MUST try to eat whipped cream on its own! Even if with pancakes, breads ect .. it's very good, having your mouth filled with cream is very fun and satisfying lol! I love taking big mouthfuls of whipped cream and feeling like a cloud in my mouth! Me, I like to eat pancakes and fruit pies with whipped cream! Especially with the blueberry pie!

Yeahh her breads are very soft. Actually, I think most generic breads in Asian bakeries are super soft and fluffy and slightly sweet. Asians, in general, prefer soft bread over harder or tougher ones like baguettes/ciabatta,, etc. Hehe, I will definitely try eating pure whipped cream one day! It's something I have to experience !! It sounds so satisfyinggg. Ooh yes, pancakes with whipped cream!! I wish McDonald's pancakes came with whipped cream 😆. I LOVE soufflé pancakes with whipped cream! They're the Japanese style super fluffy and cloud-like pancakes.. they go so well with whipped cream! I've tried pecan pie and walnut tarts with cream before, but not fruit pies. I've seen videos of Westerners eat fruit pies and pumpkin pies with whipped cream before.. looks so yummy !! 😂😂 I admire how you still attempt to cook/bake in the kitchen despite your failures hahaha. Brioche bread with chocolate chips sounds amazinggg, your mom must be a pretty good baker! HAHA, I'm sure Mr Handsome Doctor would love to see you again too 😜.

Oh no, I won't get iritated at all of course! I just graduated last year and I want to continue my studies but COVID happened and delayed my plans.. so I'm currently working temporarily just to earn some pocket money before I continue my studies next year 😆.
