    Exceptional footage of sand dunes. The students in my earth science classes REALLY dig this video. The time lapse footage is nothing short of mesmerizing. I'll second a previous comment about uploading a HD version as the lowish quality is the only thing against this video, as a good amount of the detail is lost. Thanks for uploading!

    Wow, beautiful! I study dunes for a living, and our scientific community has only just discovered the power of time-lapse photography. Dunes and ripples are even more beautiful when they're in motion.

      @@owlredshiftYep! Such beautiful landscapes, carved sandstones, and lovely dunes. I know it takes years for the wind to build them so the one thing the movie and novels don't consider is how the Shai Hulud would leave tracks that would last for years.
