Technically the reason Daz really went at Kanye it’s because someone made a tape sounding exactly like Kanye and there was something going on between Snoop and Kanye at the time but it wasn’t that serious but whoever made this tape and put it out there pretending to really be Kanye said a lot of stuff about Snoop, Long Beach and the Crips. At one point this person that sounded like Kanye and was portraying himself as Kanye was saying things like “I’m a god and what’s a god to a Crip?” Everyone knows it’s fake now but at the time there were a lot of Crips in Los Angeles, Long Beach , Compton , etc. that were pissed about it. The stuff about Trump was just icing on the cake that they could rub in his face but it was that fake Kanye tape that said everything off.
A more interesting question is what happened to artists of Bad Boy. They're either dead (Big, Craig Mac, and Black Rob) or got locked up(Loon and G-dep) or deported (Shyne) or left the label literally broke (e.g. the Lox and 112). The most successful Bad Boy artist is Diddy.
This whole expose is full of misinformation. Calling Nate's solo career unsuccessful is total nonsense. "The group twenty thirteen" WTF is that LOL The whole "Daz was arrested for drug possesion" comment is misleading. It was weed. On another note-Kurupt did a lot of damage to his brain. His rhymes after Space Boogey album all sound weird and slurred and off. Even to this day sober Kurupt doesnt sound sharp anymore. His speech is weird and delayed and lacks crispness. It's sad. He was a great emcee in his prime.
I watched through the video even after too much suffering of this guy's ignorance, but the comment on nate dogg's solo career made me stop the video and look for your comment. this is why youtube is no longer what it used to be
“What happened to the Death Row artists?” The ones that were smart realized Death Row was an impending death trap and got out while the getting was good.
213 is not pronounced "2013," like the year. It's "two, one, three." I'm pretty sure that's common knowledge amongst anyone who knows about snoop, nate, and Warren g, but maybe I'm wrong
Please do a video on the artists at ruthless records. That was eazy e label. And 2pacs holligram was accurately scary. That's why the crowd was quiet as shit. Crazy as hell . 2pac 4ever
I want to focus on Hammer.....alot people criticize Hammer for switching up to more harder appeal....You got to realize when Hammer did his commercial hits, Hammer was very young. I don't think he was even in his 30 yet when he made multiple millions. When he lost it all due to taxes, fake friends, & his over spending lead to his depression, which lead to take some time off & revitalize his career by signing with Death Row Records. Although he.put out some fairly good records on Death Row but it never matched the success of "Too Legit 2 Quit". When the nonsense came to Death Row, he did the smart thing & bounced.....I have so much respect 4 Hammer ! 💯✌❤✌❤💯
@nemo pouncey Cool, Cool ....I heard also during the infamous 'Meeting Beatens" it would be Suge instructing Pac, The Outlaws, Mob Piru Bloods & Hammer participating in those beaten to those who was in trouble with Suge.
So essentially Suge was no better then Jerry Heller? Except instead giving them a little bit of money at a time he had his artists cars and other assets in his name. What’s the difference? Suge left his artists high and dry smh
I can tell that even though you didn't grow up in this era of music, you've done some really good research, but please make sure to research the artists' songs BEYOND mainstream chart success. Black artists, especially hip hop artists received hardly ANY recognition back then (because, "ray-sizm"), so there were several artists that you low key played TF out of, that had songs that were quite successful amongst their immediate audiences (i.e., Miche'le's "Something in My Heart", that was all over urban radio for years), because you were solely paying attention to Billboard and other mainstream stats.
“Truly We have prepared for the wrongdoers the fire, the smoke of which covers them like a tent. And if they ask for help (against thirst), they are helped with water like molten copper that roasts their faces. The worst drink and the worst place to stay!” Surah Al Kahf 18, verse 29
Suge did something outrageous, don't forget that he was the main guy behind the Rampart Scandal, I dunno who I hate more, him or Puffy, but I think it'll be Suge, especially what I saw in Straight Outta Compton.
Kurupt and Daz were still on Death Row through Tha Dogg Pound name in the late 90's into the early 2000's.. On Suge Knight Represents Chronic 2000 they both appear on several songs, inside the booklet (released in 1999) it says coming soon Tha Dogg Pound.. In Kurupt "Streetz Is a Mutha" Music video around the same time there's a part in the video they promote Suges Chronic 2000 by showing the album cover.. In 2001 Death Row released Tha Dogg Pound 2002 which features new music including a collab with Rocafella on a remix for Change The Game, and old never heard before songs with newly produced beats. It features Crooked I and other current Tha Row artists at the time like Tha Relativez and SKG, so I see this as Dogg Pounds real second album. It sold more and charted higher than the album that's supposed to be. Back in the day I used to see Dogg Pound 2002 the edited version up at Wal-Mart lol
If you miss it , go check KXNG Crooked I 💯 him and his brothers Shoegang are the realest rappers out right now Crook was actually the rapper Em said is “The most criminally slept on rapper ever” Tbh they are thi only rappers I consistently listen to I tried posting a link to Crooks Legendary “HIpHopWeekly 2019” but it always disappears lol but I implore you to go check It this was the second time he released absolute 🔥 every week for 52 weeks , the first was “HIpHopWeekly 2007” ALL for FREE!!!

I’d love to hear lady of Rage and Rapsody do a project.
I will do it
And Diddy was some punk..
@@MusicVibeChannel nice!
There are so many current and former Bad Boy artists that are doing absolutely fine, y’all gotta stop with this false narrative
Diddy was really no better than Suge. He just did his dirt on the low. He's the worst type of snake. At least Suge was up front with his ish.
This whole expose is full of misinformation. Calling Nate's solo career unsuccessful is total nonsense.
"The group twenty thirteen" WTF is that LOL
The whole "Daz was arrested for drug possesion" comment is misleading.
Idiots will be idiots.
Weed is no drug possession now? 😂
I watched through the video even after too much suffering of this guy's ignorance, but the comment on nate dogg's solo career made me stop the video and look for your comment. this is why youtube is no longer what it used to be
the production quality on this was insane man!
Kurupt was talented AF!!!💯🔥
“What happened to the Death Row artists?” The ones that were smart realized Death Row was an impending death trap and got out while the getting was good.
it is simply amazing how many people are capitalizing on death row and it,s former artist.
213 is not pronounced "2013," like the year. It's "two, one, three." I'm pretty sure that's common knowledge amongst anyone who knows about snoop, nate, and Warren g, but maybe I'm wrong
Nah youre Right 213 is also the Code for Long Beach Thats why their using it
Exactly lol
2 1 3 will regulate 😎
Lmao I had to rewind that, I was like 2013?! You mean 2-1-3?

Please do a video on the artists at ruthless records. That was eazy e label.
And 2pacs holligram was accurately scary. That's why the crowd was quiet as shit. Crazy as hell . 2pac 4ever
Thanks for this brotha
Nate Dogg walked so Drake could run.
R.i.p makaveli
R.i.p Nathaniel "Nate dogg" Hale
R.i.p Jewell (death row 1st lady)
It's the same story. All the guys at Death Row made the the record companies millions and then their careers took a dive before the implosion.
What a wild time. Never did I think I'd see rappers having serious beef with other rappers over what presidential candidate they supported.
Get with the program bro. People talked down on Eazy for trolling the republicans in the early 90's. But what do we know right. 🤦♂️
Michle’le had a album in the early 90’s
But that wasn’t on death row. That was with ruthless records.
I've done work for Kurupt's dad. He lives in Palm Springs, California.
I made Death Row Records Remixes Come listen to it if you want😉👍peace🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
@nemo pouncey I think him finding God brought him back to himself. I like him being that humble cool guy he was back in the day Hammer......
@nemo pouncey Cool, Cool ....I heard also during the infamous 'Meeting Beatens" it would be Suge instructing Pac, The Outlaws, Mob Piru Bloods & Hammer participating in those beaten to those who was in trouble with Suge.
Hammer made a big mistake in 2 years time at his peak
@@lexkanyima2195 Yeah, I guess you can see it like that too....I think he knew that then & now....
@@Notorious_G.O.D_76 he made it rushed
Kurupt was so underrated, his bars were vicious
And now we have his son Nhale who kept the legacy alive and put his personnal touch.
So essentially Suge was no better then Jerry Heller? Except instead giving them a little bit of money at a time he had his artists cars and other assets in his name. What’s the difference? Suge left his artists high and dry smh
Just wanted to say these old school hip hop videos are awesome. Can we see more about Dre and snoop?
Thanks bro! I will do video about Dre
@@MusicVibeChannel what about Snoop? 🙄

Suge should of left the street life mentality behind for the most part then he would be one of the wealthiest musicians today yeah
suge was not a musician...
how its possible to skip dj quik?
Death Row became DEBT ROW, simple as that, that's how I've always seen that, anyway thanks for the vid bro, pleasure as always

Mi’chele released 2 albums the first was self titled and featured the hits No More Lies, Nicety and Something In My Heart
The first album wasn’t on Death Row
@@narisblack5808 but it was still ruthless which dre was associated with
@@narisblack5808 secondly I originally didn’t say the first was on death row but keep putting words in my mouth
Great video
Suge did something outrageous, don't forget that he was the main guy behind the Rampart Scandal, I dunno who I hate more, him or Puffy, but I think it'll be Suge, especially what I saw in Straight Outta Compton.
If Suge never had beef with Diddy or Biggie 2pac would still be alive in 2024 right now.
Dear Lord. These folks takin “Death Row” too damn literal.
Great vid 🥳
R.I.P. Jewel Eazy e
Awesome video.
I just prey that Snoop makes a difference in Dethro.
Hopefully now it’s known for better things than it was back then.

My favorite Deathrow Records artist is Tupac! Who’s yours?
Wasn’t dj quik apart of deathrow to?

Love hearing these kids narrate 90s rap, like they know what they are talking about.
Can you do this with aftermath artists
The 90s-2010 Rap era was 🔥🔥🔥
On god
Meh on the 2005-10s

That "twenty-13" album is harder to find then Nate's first solo album. 😂😂😂
This is a really poorly made video. Facts missing and incorrect, wrong names of things, opinion pieces, and just generally feels like sloppy reads from Wikipedia articles.
Seriously. It’s so oddly made with no real introduction it just immediately starts with random facts and them flying to the Bahamas to record a Christmas album
You failed to include the year of every song/album featured

@ 18:14 that’s 2 chainz!?😮🔥🔥🔥
Could you imagine if Suge could have kept his ego somewhat in check. The music that man single handily stole from generations is crazy.
Suge should’ve protected himself instead of injected himself. What I mean by that is he got poisoned by gang violence to much, and he met his defeat by the street.
Yall are sleeping on the narrator RBX.
His solo album RBX-Files after leaving is a classic.
It was over too many heads coming from death row. He's also my brother. His first album was incredible.
