The special thing about KK is that he made the song the hero. It was never about him, it was about the song. He made each song sound unique. He really told a story with it. His voice barely changed in 25 years. The legacy he leaves is truly unique.

His last song in the stage is "Hum rahe yeah na rahe kal.. Kal Yaad ayenge yeah pal" Which means " Tomorrow if I live or not you will remember this time" .. This song is one of my alltime favourite song from my college days. Miss you KK 😢💔

Can't believe I saw my life's first concert and it was his last. To say the least I was shocked after getting the news of his demise after less than 3 hrs where he was singing his heart out and even danced a few steps would be understatement. My memories will always be bittersweet of that day. His presence will be so much felt.

That day I realized that the first ever song which I called my favourite and listened to on loop was "Khuda Jaane" by KK. His voice really travelled directly from the ears to the heart.

Not exactly Baritone but a lyric baritone or could even be tenor or dramatic tenor .In the mid 2000’s his voice started aging & gaining weight like baritones dark & rich texture .Songs like Labon ko , Kya mujhe Pyaar hai encapsulates the essence of his baritone voice .
@@rongkimhanse7288 I think he was always a baritone but in early 2000s he was made to sing higher. pitched songs by Anu Malik and also his singing was more westernised. Later KK adapted well to Bollywood singing and could express freely, his lower chest voice is the best I have ever heard, quality and timbre was top notch. And his diction was superb too. God I miss him a lot

I would recommend you to watch his clips of singing in interviews and other places, without music. His voice is so so so melodious and pure, doesn't require any instruments. You'll feel like there is music instilled in his vocal cord.

Each And Every Song of KK was a Masterpiece. Indian Music has lost its greatest playback voice. His signature "Woohoohhh" , just sends you to different dimension whenever you listen to it. He was all my childhood. All his songs made me cope with difficult time. Owed so much to him. I just pity why he was never awarded or appreciated while he was alive. Only after his death everyone remembering him.I always wanted to see KK once in life , now when I am all grown up and thought will attend KK concert one day or just meet him , he is gone.
