It is choreography, i know. Yet, those katana moves are so fluidic in a way that the person (not necessary the actor herself) who wield it understands what harm it can do to flesh.
Out of them all, this scene most resembles Warframe. Where you are a space ninja, with all kinds of super advanced, high tech long range weapons, but can instantly switch to a razor sharp katana, great sword/shotgun, huge electric AoE hammer, or any matter of OP melee weapons.
Remember the whole only one clone can active at a time instead of them being two active sleeves? Ortega took advantage of that problem and killed the clones off. As they were in their pod and she shot them before they could get out.

It's such a codependent trauma bonding and Oedipal type of relationship, so interesting to watch and heartbreaking when they were together in the season ending. In reality she was screwed the moment she was sold to the Yakuza. She became a psychologically stunted and stripped of all empathy monster and literally created a human trafficking business beyond comprehension. The last human element in her was desperate to be salvaged but she just couldn't honour it so when takeshi wasn't hers to control she couldn't stand that human feeling. She was always that little girl mentally so she couldn't compute a mature emotional spectrum and thus reacted in a codependentant and controlling way and the obvious oedipal way. Her character was great writing imo.

@@Arkimedus Completely agree. It was a massive downgrade, and the story was meh at best. However when compared to other shows in the same genre, it was and still is better than most sci-fi shows. Which is why i kinda get annoyed when people make it out to be complete garbage, when in reality it was still better than everything from "The 100," "ST Disc," "Picard," "Killjoys," "Defiance," "Falling Skies," seasons 2 through 4 of "Westworld," all of the Marvel shows, (which while technically not being "sci-fi", are still tangentially related so i throw them into the same bucket), and plenty of other sci-fi shows of the past decade.

Seriously? Season 1 was phenomenal. Like legit one of the best sci-fi series ever made good. Season two was a massive downgrade and nowhere near as good, but at the end of the day it was still better than the average sci-fi series, (but that's not saying a whole lot).
Imagine being able to hone your fighting skills for centuries without ever losing your strength and mobility.
Not only that, but getting a custom made body amplifying your very fight style and endurance. Truly terrifying.
