It was built especially for the coronation ceremony following the unification of Transylvania with Romania. So it's not very old :)

This cathedral is a beautiful example of historic architecture. The landscapes around it are amazing. But the views of the cathedral, both inside and out, are just breathtaking.

This looks an amazing place. Definitely a place not to miss if touring your beautiful country.
The cathedral is more important for us, Romanians. It was built especially for the event of the king's coronation, as a result of the annexation of Transylvania to Romania. But the Alba Carolina citadel (inside which the cathedral is located) yes, it is worth a visit.
