I will always return to Big Country My first ever gig was the Seer Tour at the Ipswich Regent , I will never ever forget that night even after seeing them several times after Inc the last tour RIP Stu
This doesn't do Big Country justice really, isn't his best performance. Saw them at Hammersmith Odeon mid-eighties and it was amazing. Everyone in the band was great but Stuart WAS Big Country, sadly missed, RIP big man.
1986 was the last time I saw Big Country here in Los Angeles. It was the 4th time I had seen them and possibly the best concert I have ever been to before or since. I honestly get chills just watching this now. Thank you Stuart for adding so much to my life all those years ago when I was pretty lost and directionless. We'll never forget you and what a truly great human being you are. Sorry if this was post was overly personal. Big Country's music truly did change my life for the better.
This may be the best version of this on TH-cam, serious Tom Scholz tone, and you can hear both guitars and the bass. Wish I could get the original somewhere.
Never got a chance to see them live i was born to late thankfully you tube has an amazing amount of great footage i am fustrated that more people don't know how great they were fantastic music
the grin on stu's face at 4.19 is exactly how i will remember him and the great great nights out we had watching BIG COUNTRY live.
Takes me back to when I was 17 and in need of something with some genuine heart. Brilliant.
I will always return to Big Country

I too went to this gig which was awesome. I saw them on three further occasions in Newport, but without doubt this was the best performance.
I hate you and your gloating. ;P

If Stuart, Bruce, Tony and Mark only knew - to this day, this music keeps me alive, as it did in 1985.
