This yard sale day was crazy! I didn't go out hunting until around 10 and found an amazing retro toy haul. This day turned out to be a great score!

You got your money back that you spend by the castle alone it's like the rest of the stuff was free. Once at a church sale I brought a bracelet for a dollar fifty? I cleaned it up,, Come to find out it was 14 karat gold from 1911 worth $2,500.. The feeling in doing this ..is like looking for Treasure that's not buried.. I love thrifting and garage sales👍✌💯

Dude I always watch your videos and to be honest get jealous of all the great stuff you find but just had my best score ever stopped at a garage sale first one in months because I had kidney surgery and the lady took my number and said she'd call me back because she had some jordans and she actually called me and when I went it was all Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Fendi, Prada, and other Designer Italian shoes I paid $475 for 18 pairs could not believe it. Turns out it was James Kirkland's(famous boxer from the 2000s), mother in law selling his stuff and raising his kids one of those fall from grace stories I guess. Keep doing the great videos really inspirational.

@@ReadySetResell Vintage lawn chairs can bring BIG money. I've seen other resellers sell them for $100+. But shipping them seems like such a nightmare to me.

The GI Joe vehicles look a little beat...or just off. It looked on quick scans that the kid didn't actually put any of the stickers on the vehicles- I wonder if that might actually be a good thing? As a kid, I was horrible at putting them on straight I believe the Black tank thing it the Hiss Tank or maybe H.I.S.S. Tank. I had that one. I believe the green boat was the Water Moccasin... or that was the name of the recolored one that I owned. You know how those toys were- recolor an old toy and rename it. Same with the jeep- recolored version of the original green one.

Some Vintage Memory games can sell for good money. I've sold 2 so far for $60 each.
Thanks for the break down of the MOTU stuff. Just scored Castle Grayskull, Snake Mountain, 15 figurines, several vehicles, and lots of accessories (all in really good condition) this weekend! Got them for $80, which I'm hoping is a descent price. I loved He-Man growing up, so while I'm hoping to do well reselling it all, I'm stoked, for nostalgic reasons, to go through and inventory it all! Do you happen to have any other videos that include MOTU stuff in it?

For a lot of stuff yup that’s about right. But just because I sell it doesn’t mean I can’t love the stuff I’m selling. I do keep stuff for my personal collection as well. Same with video games and cloths. Gotta like what you do haha

Why aren't there comps? Instead you fill it up with i believe. You have a great haul there, but please get comps and price posted. This will help other sellers or would be sellers in the future.
Because I didn’t look it all up when I bought it. Also, I don’t think I’ve ever put a picture of comps in a haul video. It would be redundant. If I say a price it means I’m fairly confident of that estimate. Or when I do comp something out before I buy It I usually mention I looked at the solds. So putting a picture up wouldnt change that. I’m here to help show items types to look out for not to do all the work for you. Markets are always changing and because of this putting a screen shot of recent comps would be no better then my estimates based on my knowledge from past sales. Which is why people watch my channel because I share my knowledge. Anyone can go on their phone and pull something up. But, I appreciate the constructive criticism. I like hearing suggestions. However in this case I just don’t think it would matter much.
@@ReadySetResell comps are normally added during editing, so even if you didnt look it up during thr purchase, it could have been added poat esiting. You saying look out for this and saying "i believe" doesnt show confidence. If i would have to look up something after watching then i would rather go to another yt channel who puts in the effort to actually add comps. Thanks.
Again read my above statement. I haven’t ever edited in comps to a haul video... it’s redundant. It’s literally the same information I’m saying just in a visual form. The market is always changing so physically showing comps on screen is literally the same as me using my knowledge from past sales as my reference point for making a purchase. Comps do not give you an exact price to list stuff at. They are a reference point. So every time you use comps to list something you are listing it for what you believe you can get. Me saying “I believe” is because of the market always changing. Its not because I’m making up a number. And if you are going to limit your learning because you are too skeptical without a visual then that’s on you. At the end of the day you should be doing the work and comping the items you find. Not rely on me or any other content created to do it for you. We put out this information to show the types of items to look for and to give you our experiences with them. Not to give you an end all be all pricing guide because that’s something that will always be changing.
You already said it, market is changing, something sold for $50 2 weeks ago could have sold $100 yesterday, so basing it all on memory or past experience is not smart enough.
So yeah, i'd rather "believe" actual comps than an "i believe" statement. Especially if im a new viewer.
PS: i am not a reseller or anything related to one, not even a collector. I'm just a regular viewer who enjoys watching great finds, but not like this.
If you really are open to doing the work,
Try adding comps AND total cost plus expected earnings at the end of your video for 2-3 videos. See how it affects your viewership.
But hey, your page your rules. Cant force yeah to do anything.
