Andrea Bocelli is blind and one of the world's best opera singers. Sarah Brightman started out in a dancing troupe, then married Andrew Lloyd Webber and was the first 'Christine' in his musical 'Phantom of the Opera' with Michael Crawford as 'The Phantom'.
Your first word was wow! And I was just waiting for it! It’s my first word…every time I hear this! I listened to it at least a hundred times and I can never not cry! Your emotions are universal brother! And you summed up this video as well as it could be. I wrote a comment under the original video.(check it out) Their beautiful voices inspired some of my best work! lol
Reaction Theory, enjoyed your reaction, big thumbs up (like) from me. For my money - this is THE single best live performance I've ever seen, just absolutely magnificent, the vocals (of course), the arrangement, the orchestration, the musicianship, it all came together to produce perfection.
Loved your reaction : Didn't interrupt once ! You're right about this type of music ; it's sublime, as are both their voices. Listen to more opera, more Bocelli . It'll "soothe the savage beast" inside you, if there's one . BTW, I, too, love "gloomy" weather. I don't call it that, because it makes me happy. Great meeting you, man .
I saw the moment you knew Andrea Bocelli was a special, special person ie. as soon as he sang his first line. No offense to Sarah Brightman but Bocelli has a voice from the heavens and when he begins to sing, the performance takes on a whole new level. When he's singing softly or singing with force, his voice is always so warm and full. I could listen all day.
I saw him perform at the San Diego Sports Arena back in the 90s at the peak of his popularity. It was one of those rare moments in life of getting to witness a human being do something at such an elite level.
Now this was one damn good reaction well worth watching. It was raw and honest. I have watched this video many times before and I never get tired of seeing and hearing it. But I always enjoy witnessing the reactions of others, who have never experienced this performance before. And you did not disappoint me here Sir. Cheers to you !
Since you've been touched by opera a bit, I think you would experience the same chills with the live performance of James Brown and Luciano Pavarotti singing This Is a Man's World. ;) I watched this performance hundreds of times, but thanks to you, I got goosebumps thanks to you. So thanks for your honesty and for sharing your passion for music with all of us. I sincerely hope your situation will improve soon. Stay well and take care
Great reaction to a beautiful performance!
I'm glad I'm not the only one that crys when hearing this song
An epic performance by two legends. The stars aligned that night. What a lucky crowd.

The tears are understandable. I’ve seen Andrea in concert two times and my eyes were a mess, just like yours.

Two lives devoted to taking us all somewhere we could never otherwise go. “Art is beauty , and beauty art”.

Listen to know one like you by Sarah Brightman.
