I really like the Craftsman Shelving Units, and the Craftsman Storage Totes. Well done on getting your shop items into the totes, then labeling them for easy reference . Your ginormous shop is looking good, Well done!
he probably should look in to craftsman taking on craftsman as a sponsorship cuz craftsman sure dont make good cordless tools anymore . i think craftsman cordless tools are very cheap and not as good like Dewalt and Milwaukee. just saying
That looks awesome! For labeling, I would label the racks as A1, A2, B1, B2, etc for rows and columns. Then on the index cards I would write or print in the corner which one it goes into. That way if you ever want to move the totes, you're just reprinting the index card vs the index card and the shelf tag. Think of the rack spot as a warehouse location and the inventory that goes into that location may change over time.
Great job Johnny . A lot of work to get that area organised and tidy . The compressors are big i wonder could they be stacked on top of each other with a frame to save room . Fantastic video look forward to more .

Fantastic work, Johnny! It's looking much better in there! 😃 I started to buy some plastic boxes as well... Looong way to go. 😬 Anyway, stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
You can do it! Buying the totes and actually organizing them are certainly very different tasks. As you can see from the dust, these totes sat empty for close to a year before I finally got to organizing them, hah!
One thing I’d add to perfect the tote system would be a dedicated trolley (a little folding one would be great) to live next to the shelving. That way, you have a dedicated trolley to transport the totes from storage to work site, and it’ll make putting them away less of a chore. Carrying one by hand, no big deal. Moving say 4 totes, gonna need that trolley
I use a metal storage cabinet in my shop with flammable stickers on the doors for my fuels, oils, solvents, etc. It's not a specific fire proof cabinet but it's heavy gauge steel and the doors have decent flanges all around them so I don't have to worry about sparks getting in.
Hey man, for your workout area- Tractor Supply Co. has rubber horse stall mats that are 4 x 6 ft for like 50 bucks. They are thick and durable, providing great support for lifting. Plus, this will increase the overall aesthetic of the area. Keep up the good work 👍🏼👍🏼
i found this series and really like your format. This video is your best due to your narration. In this format you sound natural, while on previous work you voice-over diction sounds a bit like Captain Kirk. Keep up the good work.
thats a clean out on the pipe right next to your solar batteries. You may want to move the solar batteries somewhat to the right if possible or mount plexiglass on the left side of that rack incase you ever need to use that clean out.

If you’re re-using those air compressors and you don’t know the history, make sure the tanks haven’t gone too rusty - nobody wants one rupturing. There are inspection plugs so you can inspect inside.
Also you can hit it with a hammer underneath, if it feels soft or softer than the sides it is junk. If it is good you can fill it with evaporust to clean , then heat dry it and use some metall paint inside, only need lower half or 10cm as the rest will never collect any water or rust
I wouldn't re-use them, especially not knowing the age/true condition of em and with all the moisture problems with the building/property, just asking for trouble. Also the size of the tank falls into commercial which requires state regulated inspections and certificates.
Depends on what the local regulations are for pressure vessels. Generally you find that when they are made, they have a certain wall thickness, and hopefully they have a name plate with a serial number and max pressure rating, and that will start to give you clues as to what wall thickness remaining would still be usable. From all this, maybe there is someone that can do pressure vessel inspection to determine if it's ok, but again, check with local regulations.
And another thing that I think is just as important as the tank is the safety relief valves fitted to them, may be advisable to change them with new ones, especially if you don't know their age. Again, check with local regulations and a local pressure vessel inspector
Might I recommend a labeling idea for your shelves themselves? Use the P-Touch printer to match them up, but put the labels on magnets or magnetic tape. That way you can easy move them around as needed without having to reprint/peel, etc.

@craftedworkshop seriously, it sounds like a voiceover from a sound booth, yet you are in a room that would echo with one foot step, and I don't even see a lavalier mic. I'm really confused.
