I love the proportions described in anatomy. I am not too good with my spacial awareness or intuition at drawing, so describing it whith ratios makes it a lot simpler :)

Can i just say:
Seeing the numbers for art made my poor dumb brain crumble
math and art can have a lot in common
it's mostly just 1 to 1 to 1 tho, and in some of those 1s there are smaller 1 to 1s , but they're all ones in the end uwu
The trick is to not have the mindset of “hard confusing math I give up” think of it as just part of the process and not like “math, okay do I need algebra or trigonometry or calculus this is too hard wait I’m confused”

I was about to say that I'm way too dumb to understand this method, but I kept watching and around the time you started talking about the 1:1 ratio of the palm and thumb on the second drawing something clicked for me. There are still parts I'm not sure I can fully wrap my head around, but this was still surprisingly helpful! Also all these hands are so beautifully drawn, and the fact you did them with a pen makes me fear how powerful you are 😂

是說伸直手指都明，但手擺姿勢，要立體感時真是………十級跳的感覺

從第一指關節算起指頭三關節間長度比是5:3:2左右，一比一的就是以第二關節為基準計算長度。
指頭每個關節都會看起來有點變大，指頭也是往上漸細
大拇指的面和掌心及其他手指間的面的角度差不多為90度，這樣才能握住物體，要注意
我才发现作者竟然是左撇子😳(并无恶意)
左撇子还是蛮有才的，几乎所有领域里左撇子都是很有天赋～

Surprisingly I never thought of drawing hands that way! Used to draw each individual joint, but the ratio thing clicked more easily in my brain! Will use this ratio method! (It seems that I work well using ratios instead XD )
This is a very interesting and helpful method! Here's what I got from it:
Length of palm and finger? Eepee-eepee.
Middle joints? Eepee-eepee.
base of thumb and thumb? Eepee-eepee.
Thumb finger to nuckle length? Eepee-eepee.
Hand proportions to base+thumb length? Eepee-eepee to 1.4
...
Be advised, sometimes it's eepee-ee though.
The subtitles helped a ton in understanding, but I can't get the "eepee" sound off my head, which I assume it's "1 to" in english lol

Who needs English Captions? It's just Chinese... I mean I don't speak it either, but it's not that difficult to understand what is being said. So if we take a look at the hand we can notice that blah blah blah is blah blah blah long and blah blah blah wide the blah is this long and blah is blah long.
The hand is 10 then the fingers are 5 the thumb is 7, the ratios for the fingers are 3.5 and 2.5 respectively and the cupped hand is 1+1+sqrt(2) long on it's perimeter...
This is perfect.. it is so easy to understand.. im going to practice it now thank u
